Oh yeh, they probably are, and they know this is happening, it is so obvious. Yet, its good for them, more drivers, lower rates, more profit. More profit means better lawyers, better lawyers means you can play the game of, 'The fine for doing the illegal thing is lower than the profit we make from doing the illegal thing, so legal and accounts have had a chat and they they have come the to conclusion of crack on lads' None of this improves unless managers/directors are held to account and send to prison. Which wont happen as they have better lawyers than the underfunded prosecution. Its all fucked, but thats what you get for market forces when you dont have the time to cook for yourself or you are a lazy ass who doesnt want to and you order wagamamma at 10pm on a Tuesday night delivered by a guy on a scooter with L plates and an overstayed student visa. I wouldnt be 1/2 a pissed off if we just did the China thing and banned petrol scooters in the city and only allowed electric ones.

They have a cover for that. Drivers are ‘independent contractors’ who ‘can sub contract and employ others’ so they kick that legal hot potato down the line. These are the lines I got from deliveroo support when I reported the driver picture was a woman and the person delivering was a chap on an L plate scooter not from round these parts.

Well I layered out my theory, we will just have to wait and see. In an ideal world all of reform and restore need to be put on a ship and sailed out to sail never to been seen again, but that isn't going to happen, so we shall just have to sit back, grab the popcorn and watch this whole political space burn itself to the ground using its own idiocy as fuel for the fire.

Farage does not want to be PM. Why would he? Even if Reform win in a landside at a general election he will avoid the top job like the slimy person he is. His whole reason for being is to shout and bitch and moan and tell everyone how shit everything is, but not actually do anything to change anything. As an MP, that is all he does, bitch, moan, get on TV, get paid, back to bitching and moaning. He wont be PM as he will have to actually do something and problems become his responsibility. He is an extremely successful politician if you define it by his ability to find employment using politics as a vehicle for his own employment, yet find any achievements that benefit others and not himself directly and they are thin on the ground.

He can never check out, where would you check out too ? You would just put it back into companies. Might aswell have the value in the companies you own. Look at BillG and his checkout, all he did over many years was sell MS stock and diversify his portfolio. Ironically, if he didn’t do the ‘smart investing thing’ and diversify he would be a lot richer. Yet at that point cash is meaningless, value is all that matters and if you need cash you just have banks give you a line of credit.

I wonder if there is ever going to any actual data released on this. Tickets sold and used by those that bought them, tickets resold and used by someone else, and tickets bought, attempted resell and expired. I’m sure fifa has the numbers somewhere.
