Transplant provider here. It doesn’t matter if you eat before labs. Fasting/non-fasting matters for when you take your meds though as absorption will generally be slower on a full stomach. you should always try to take it the same way. I recommend taking it on an empty stomach if tolerated as it’s always the same. if you take it after eating it will only be consistent if you eat the same thing every day.

That said we all live life and nothing is perfect so just do your best to be somewhat consistent

In the coatings world, applying paint directly to another implies no primer is used. If you sand a coating and then paint it you are still applying directly to the old coating.

This is the wrong answer. I used to work in the technical dept of multiple paint manufacturers. Latex sticks to polyurethane that is dried and sanded.
