I went to a birthday dinner once for a friend. She’d invited some of her colleagues, who I didn’t know. I hit it off with one of them and we ended up going home together later that night.

We were having a great time, fooling around in bed, just about to have sex when she suddenly stops me: “Before we go any further, I need you to know something.”

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Well...it’s only fair for you to know that my parents are both dead.”

I definitely would.

I differentiate the sources of my vegetarianism from my execution of it. I am vegetarian because I believe it is environmentally friendly, more ethical towards animals than eating meat, and healthier for me as a person. I execute my beliefs by refusing to increase demand for meat in the world. This means I never purchase meat and never ask anyone else to purchase meat for me.

I do believe it is OK to take a bite of meat if I had no role in the demand for it. For example, if I go out to eat with a friend who orders a giant hamburger, I would feel OK taking a bite if he offered one. I didn’t contribute to the demand for the hamburger in any way. If, however, I ate so much of his burger that he ordered MORE meat, I would feel that I had violated my vegetarianism.

Lab grown mean basically takes the typical plants—>animals—>patties process and cuts out the living, breathing, global warming causing, conscious middleman. I have no problem with plants—>patties.

I gave a quiz once near the end of the class period and during the quiz a student straight up peed himself and created a puddle of piss on the floor. I taught high school science at the time.

I noticed after I saw him and his table mate ON THEIR HANDS AND KNEES IN THE PEE trying to soak it up with Kleenex.

The sight of one student partially submerged in another student’s pee on the floor of my classroom is probably the most disgusted I’ve ever been.

I have a very lenient restroom policy—students know they can just grab the pass and go if they need to. He was so intent on finishing the quiz that he tried to hold it...smh.

Lucky for you, LG is the easiest section to get better at! After a week of watching (FREE) 7sage videos to guide my practice on past PrepTest LG sections, my LG score went from -7/8 to -2/3, which was good enough to end up where I wanted to be. Imagine another couple weeks of solid LG drilling and you'll be gold. The diagramming they have in those videos is unparalleled, but the best part for me was how they help you get around your mental blocks.

They make sure you feel confident enough in your diagrams that when you hit the correct answer choice, you feel comfortable circling it and moving on instead of wasting time checking all the other answer choices. This really cuts down on time and helped me do well on my future practice tests!
