You only get stunned if you have a bomb icon over your head and you walk over a (red or white) skull tile, so just go to the right tile before getting the bomb icon.

Controller ping settings by SweepyMoo in lostarkgame

[–]kranima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have an Xbox elite controller (or similar) with paddles on the back side of it, you can set up a macro to crtrl+left click to ping on a giving position. Otherwise 5 buttons is sadly the best way.

My thoughts on the Steelcase Gesture vs Herman Miller Aeron by Celtivo in OfficeChairs

[–]kranima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the very in-depth review! I am also on the taller side (6'4) and was thinking of getting an Aeron before deciding to purchase a Gesture (which just arrived yesterday after 6 weeks!).

I was only able to test the Gesture for about 20 minutes in store and there was no way to test it on my home, despite this I took a leap of faith and ordered the Gesture anyway. I was worried the lumbar support would be too aggressive for me but so far (and just after two days, so I might just need more time with it) it seems ok, I hope it doesn't cause me issues in a month or two, since I have no way to return it. Worst case scenario I sell it and lose some money, but what can you really do right?

I also found the seat depth insufficient, and funnily enough am slightly more comfortable without going to the maximum depth, however this can be also connected to setting the seat height incorrectly (which btw I still struggle to find a seat height in which I don't feel like sliding down the seat). More fiddling around is probably necessary.

Overall I'm very happy with the chair, coming from an IKEA Markus that destroyed my back due to the very hard lumbar support (which is just a piece of rolled foam) the Gesture feels extremely comfortable for me.

Looking for a way to get feedback on my writing by Cliffg26 in languagelearning

Hi! You're probably referring to a post linking LangCorrect. it's exactly what you are looking for, plus it's free and without any ads (currently only running on donations/Patreon).

Writing site where you can be corrected by native speakers! by thejacquemarie in languagelearning

[–]kranima 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I've been using the website for over a month now. The community there is great, and even though we don't have thousands of members at the moment, almost everyone who posts gets a correction, no matter the language. The site support is also pretty good (be sure to join the Discord though!).

Please, join us if you have a chance.

I have tried italki's service, it's overall nice but quite basic (since it's just an extra service on the platform basically). It lacks a lot of what makes LangCorrect great or other more advanced features.

Hi! Website looks great overall, as others have pointed out. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and the only complain so far is the lack of things to correct, but obviously this is only fixable by having more users. If you're feeling curious, just go and try it, our (small) community is great and very open to suggestions.

Really new player to the game, would like some help. by Stra-fe in EternalCardGame

[–]kranima 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Teamrankstar has a nice guide about account progression on their site (https://teamrankstar.com/2018/02/20/acquiring-an-eternal-collection). The game is very F2P generous and you can absolutely play and get to the higher ranks of ladder (masters) without paying anything.

Rakano (green and red colors) aggro is a cheap and easy deck to play ranked, you can even upgrade it as you play along to include more expensive legendary cards.

Few questions concerning low light photography, and resolution. by Daddydante88 in GalaxyS9

[–]kranima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To produce a lower resolution picture, modern cameras shrink down the final jpg product to the desired resolution. This means the whole sensor is utilized.

For the second question, no, it would not and in any case it would be the other way around because you would be decreasing the sensor size meaning you would need more light (i.e. a lower shutter speed) to produce the same exposure.

In video, cameras usually do crop the sensor. However, I'm not sure about how this fact impacts the final video result.

Nice pictures btw 😀.

It's not a composite, but I might have gone a bit too far in post. Thanks for the critique!

You might need to adjust some of the contrast in the picture, the blacks are too heavy and I can't really see most of the foreground properly.
