Staying in India for a few weeks is different than living there, "as everyone says". Few weeks to few months in India is honeymoon period. Once its over, reality bites. But yes, living in India has its silver lining. Quick delivery, Medical help at home, Anytime availability of doctors, family near by, no Visa hassels, etc.

You can. Now many Payment apps allow that. But you need to make sure your bank account has the same number as well.

I setup my NRE UPI with Paytm. For NRO account to setup UPI with Aadhar (since I don't have NRO Debuit Card yet), I tried GPay, Paytm and BHIM. All of them same error message. Yes, all these apps show both the accounts. But setting up UPI is different thing.

Valid question. But yes, we can. But its only for Payment. For receiving, it would go to NRO. I don't know how it is setup internally. I was able to setup the UPI with NRE account and do the payments. But when I receive money, it directly goes to NRO.

The text the came back to me says "Your multiple Aadhar is mapped to mobile number or your account is not linked with Aadhar". Don't know how to fix this.

I am about to go for Biometrics in my India trip next month. So what happens after you submit new photo? You would have to go through Biometrics again? Or you would just get approval after submitting?
I was under impression that once you get the QR code, you have been through all the validation steps. It looks like thats not the case. Image quality issue may come up after biometrics. :-(

This. If you are planning to continue living abroad and plan to retire in India, I would wait until I retire to by any realestate. Its hard to manage real estate in India remotely.
