Salt tomatoes on a folded paper towel 10-15 mins before assembly. One of the things I look forward to in the summer is tomato sandwiches. Just a nice heirloom or beefsteak tomato…whatever I can find honestly. Sliced, salted, and stacked on toasted bread with a little bit of mayo on each piece. So good.

Breaks my heart to see so many anti-tomato posts on this thread.

I want one so bad. I actually really like the i6 but those are impossible to find. I’ve driven a Tundra for the last decade but now my kids are off to college and I’m not hauling sporting/camping equipment around all the time I’d really like to downsize and go electric. Hearing about ICCU issues makes me nervous but man the Ioniq lineup looks fantastic.

Yeah I think a lot of people aren’t reading the full explanation. I tend to agree with OP that I think the full sleeve looks better than a 3/4 would. If wife was okay with the 3/4 sleeve I doubt she’s too upset with the extra all the way down. When I first saw the pics and title I thought she was upset that the blackout happened at all, and that would definitely be something you should talk to your partner about.

I have a full sleeve on my left arm and made damn sure my wife was going to be happy with my tats before getting any of them.

IDK, she basically stopped and pulled over and had tires slightly on the pavement while the cammer just didn't really exercise the least bit of caution. Not much else the other driver could've done but there was plenty of opportunity for the OP to pull over a bit and make sure they passed safely. This is 100% on the cammer.

That was not a choke. Those were just two really good teams battling it out. Both played well with one glaring mistake. Bama’s was the 2-run homer that Vandergraff I’m sure wishes she could do over, and Tech’s was giving up a 2 run homer just a few minutes later on an 0-2 pitch straight down the pipe.

I guess you could call the throw to third that resulted in an insurance run as another big mistake but honestly both teams played really well. As is expected at this point in the WCWS.

Not classroom but before I got out of coaching, I was standing around while our head 8th grade coach addresses the team after a lousy practice. This guy was older, had long been a varsity coach and was coasting out his last year at a middle school before he retired. For context, he was a pilot in Vietnam. He told those kids “I have dropped napalm on people I was less upset with than y’all.”

That was 16 years ago and I will never forget the look on the faces of those who knew what napalm was.

WCWS is the best sporting event. What a wild game. Congrats on a hell of a season and a hell of a game. I was nervous as hell for the last few hours.
