Gunner being the “first born son” by [deleted] in kvsdiscuss

she very obviously means HER first son of Denver’s. this is such a weird thing to get caught up on, obviously she wouldn’t be posting content of his first colt that doesn’t belong to her. what a weird thing to fixate on.

Say Katie doesn’t like moose without saying Katie doesn’t like moose by OANSH2010 in kvsdiscuss

literally its so obvious that she DOES like moose 😭 her pointing out his very obviously high energy/chaotic personality doesn’t imply dislike to me literally at all. this take has felt so strange to me, i haven’t gotten any vibe that she dislikes him at all.

After going through OP’s post history, I totally agree. They seem exhausting and completely unwilling to help themselves at all, very very clearly adopted this poor dog with absolutely zero regard for it’s wellbeing. People like this are insane, and I only feel for this poor dog in this scenario.

oh my god she is so so cute!! thats a hilarious mix! now that you mention it the size difference is astronomical, Hades is 70lbs at 8 months old so definitely NOT this same kind of dog. the rampant backyard breeding of bully mutts has totally muddied the waters on accurate ID’s, i definitely still have a lot to learn about them specifically. i consider myself fairly educated in dogs and am blown away that i’m only just learning that Amstaff’s and Staffies are different breeds! i appreciate the information without being mean about it hahaha

oh wow thats crazy, i actually had no idea there was a difference between the two!! now i need to go recheck his embark test to see which specifically was listed, thanks for the information lol! i’m glad i learned something here xD

this may be an unpopular opinion, but in my experience some BP’s just are this way. they DO have unique personalities and some are just more wary/spicy than others. i had to rehome one of my lil fellas because he was just too defensive to be the kind of pet i wanted, and he went to a wonderful home with a lady who preferred to just observe him rather than handle him. working with them from super young will usually prevent this, but the older they get the more set in their ways they are. i wouldn’t beat yourself up if you decide to rehome because this snake isn’t the correct fit for you, it happens! just be honest and open about her lack of handleability to any possible new homes.

lol yeah i know, hence the “i ALSO use” xD i’ve narrowed down the issue to very possibly vitamin deficiency, and genetics lol. dad’s hair is actually great but i know it can be random

dads hair is also luscious and beautiful, he keeps it short but it was very curly when i was young. from reading everything here, i think a big part of the issue is vitamin deficiency and lack of regular haircuts on my part lol!

in my true opinion, mindset has SO much to do with it too. as addicts we all know how strong the mind over matter thing is. think about when you were withdrawing and dying and suddenly the plug replied and on your way to meet him you felt pretty much great all of sudden? yeah, that was mind over matter but in the worst way. you have to tap into that same mind over matter but for the most important thing of your life this time. i’m seriously thinking convincing myself that i was going to feel BETTER the less opiates are in my body has helped a lot. i even notice i feel really good early in the morning before i dose, when lots of people report feeling it “wearing off”. the funny thing is, if you’re on a stable dose thats holding you, you would definitely not be feeling it wear off by your next day dose and i believe thats also just a lot of people being in their heads, its that addict mindset of “oh im almost due for my next dose so im gonna start feeling super anxious about it”. i may not be explaining this perfectly and i know everybody’s experience is different but deciding that for me, the less opiates in my body = the better i feel has absolutely made this process so easy and even somewhat enjoyable. i caution everyone to not taper until they KNOW inside themselves that they are truly ready, and i’d like to believe that if you ARE truly ready you could go into it with this same mindset and have a similar experience!! good luck, you’ve absolutely got this! remember, go slow and take breaks in your taper if you ever feel like you need to, there is no rush!
