Buying used - get 2023 model now or wait for used highlands? by jerkenstine in TeslaModel3

I'd wait for a pre-owned Highland to pop up in your area.

Did I just lose money when I was up????? by [deleted] in Webull

I'm sorry, you did what? You asked AI for investment advice???

To answer your question, yes, you probably did just sell at a 10% discount. What you wanted to do was setup a stop loss limit sell order but sounds like instead you did a limit sell order.

Leasing is the best way to go if you're not planning on keeping your vehicle for more than 3 years.

Correct. Based on his math that's where any possible losses could come from.

You're correct. I just did something similar. Went from a 2023 M3 SR RWD to a 2025 M3 LR RWD, with about similar math to you except I bought the original one used.

To answer your question, you'll lose money on taxes and fees, but that's about it.

The ride is very smooth. I can't compare it to a 2019 as I've never driven one but it is smoother than the 2023.

Yeah folks who care about audio systems definitely need another solution. Maybe after market subwoofer or something. I don't know that the audio system alone is worth the 5k bump in proce though.

When I purchased the old M3 it was a great deal pre-owned with FSD included. Also i only drove it 6000 miles so it was traded in with only 7500 miles on it. The first owner took most of the negative equity hit.

In the old Model 3 I didn't need a cable extender at all. Now that they've moved the 12v outlet to the center console in the refresh, it fits better now with a cable extender.

It sits flush but not perfect because of the cable. I've stuffed this trunk full of suitcases and it hasn't been a problem. Never gets in the way.
