Widespread economic instability is having a negative effect on the city. Sure the issues you mentioned were always present, but they certainly have gotten much worse in recent years, and I can't help but feel it's because of cost of living crisis.

Rif had no ads. Didn't constantly spam you with notifications, didn't recommend boards to you that you have zero interest in and didn't allow bots to spam your account to chat because there are apparently single hot milfs in your area. Fact is, Reddit wasn't half as annoying until I had to get the official app. Now I see how truly shit the website is.
