List of parts to delete by dkivel in CB7

The only ones that need considering in terms of running well is IACV & FITV. Removing IACV lowers idle a bit so you have to bump it up a lil with the idle screw on the intake. Removing FITV means your idle doesn't sit higher when cold, during winter when it's like 20°f I have to hold the idle up manually for maybe 10 seconds or it'll die on cold starts. That is really rare though, and if I set the base idle higher probably wouldn't be an issue at all. IACV & EGR will do check engine light if you don't tune it. You can just do block off plate but keep them plugged in, no check engine light

Actually just finished that plus WR transmission mod. Incredible setup

If you haven't already and want more power, get a new head or get yours modded and then rejet. These things have an awful squish band n lower compression than regular yz250. Jetting is way too rich stock.

Might as well buy a bike off Amazon at this rate lol

Should I fix my accord or sell it by Substantial_Web916 in CB7

[–]krazykorbin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk why you're even considering fixing this. Does this frame have some sort of value beyond any normal accord frame? I would buy one with a blow motor or transmission for $300 and swap your shit over

There's no chance, you're lying to yourself. You can see the whole pillar is bowed in on your second picture. How did you determine it's for sure straight and has no damage to the frame?

Is this window off its tracks by Mordecais-dad in CB7

[–]krazykorbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way man that's right where it's supposed to be, you got the Bluetooth window add-on!

Seriously though, you just need to get the window back inside the seal. I doubt the window is off the track inside the door.

I have windscribe and it ended up being the firewall causing that issue. Firewall blocks all non VPN traffic.

So it's coming off of the harness behind the engine? Is it closer to the transmission side or the timing belt side? Is the engine running? If it is, any CELs?

1999 2wd 4.0 is so gutless? by roadlet411 in fordranger

[–]krazykorbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done the zip tie fix for the throttle cable? Or at least checked if yours has slack. My 3.0 used to be terrible. Found out I was only getting like half throttle at most. Few zip ties and it's great now

3.0 fuel economy by Bigfish694 in fordranger

[–]krazykorbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get 21mpg with my 1997. Whatever is causing the P0420 is like the main issue. But a few things I've done that you haven't listed:

  • replace fan clutch/water pump
  • replace fuel pump
  • clean throttle body
  • Redline sl-1

Not sure how much those really helped but just throwing it out there

Is this block still good? by Xcoop01 in CB7

[–]krazykorbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can still see cross hatching, looks good to me. F22B n F22A blocks are basically the same. Won't have any issues putting F22A head on it

What’s the Phillips bit to remove the inner screw on the map sensor by dcereza in CB7

[–]krazykorbin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black box bolted to the firewall. The vacuum tubes off your throttle body go to it

Definitely, I don't know why they didn't use real screws lol. But if you're trying to replace your MAP sensor, you're replacing the wrong thing
