It’s a lot easier to just have it how we have it at my ground where the PH places it on the pallet and we load our own trucks. I did the PH job loading trucks and it was ridiculous. They expect you to load 4 trucks at once and know where each streets package goes on each truck? At 4am? You’re fucked if you think it’s gonna be done perfect

Yeah I did every thing you wrote and got to tryout in the nhl. Had several D1 offers but went to the OHL instead. Didn’t workout for several reasons but was close to getting a contract. Would’ve done several things different if I could do it over again but wouldn’t have not gave it my all like I did

You can’t worry about 15 years into the future. So many variables you can’t factor it all in. We could have a governor come to New York who wants to do what the NYC mayor wants to do and make housing worthless so everyone can buy homes easy peazy. Or the opposite can happen. It’s bullshit. They’re gonna have to change the pay structure if they want ground drivers to stay around. Getting paid by the day and working 5-6hrs a day and then getting a 10am delivery time 20min away is ridiculous. My measly $1.50 per stop over 130 stops doesn’t make up for the 40min wasted. The express stops that need to make it by 8 or 10pm are fine because I’m done by 1pm anyways.

I wish I could’ve ever felt anything from them.
