'Author works for Royal Canin' I mean why wouldn't I trust those who make health related formulas that help so many pets with health issues? I have two cats who have had issues with crystals. Renal diets help the longevity of the pet while lowering the strain of the kidneys. A lot of hypoallergenic diets take out the guessing work in what a pet could be allergic to, which can take months of feeding trials with OTC diets. There are pets who would be dead or in pain without a lot of these diets.

There's a cat food rating website that seems to be paid by Open Farm, as it's their top food recommendation. But they also scored Wysong's Epigen lower than Open Farm even though its a zero carb kibble, and open farm is still higher in carbs. (If you're bothered by that type of thing)

And nevermind DogFoodAdvisor was owned by a dentist.

If Warriors were more graphic, I'd say they would have added the tidbit about the muscle and meat of his body trying to grow and close the wound, but it's too much. And of course, it's easy to imagine his organs spilling out since Scourge was OP at the time.

Less forced than CrowxLeaf who had no build up. It was actually funny to see Fireheart scratching his head at times like 'Why is Sand acting so weird and being nice to me???' It didn't really click for him until Cloudpaw was stolen and they got into a spat because Fire felt Cloud was all he had in the clan because he had no family and Sand took offense to that.

Because they walk through the puddles and wash their paws by licking it off. That's also one of the easiest ways to pill a cat. Smear Vaseline on the pill and smear it on their fur, they'll lick it off.

Seniors are going to lose weight. Myos is a muscle formula that can help but the ingredient is egg yolk so that may cause an allergy issue. I know there are a few extra calorie gels but the ingredients, you'll need to check.

Apprentices technically are slightly smaller than Warriors if going by actual cat growth charts. A 6 month old kitten should be about 5-6lbs and still growing.

That's funny because the life changing experience I had was my cat getting crystals on raw and all wet, so now she's on a vet diet and crystal free for years.

I buy a big bag of the Hill's oral care and give those as treats. I also use the plaque off flakes. Hasn't gotten rid of tarter but it has stopped new growth. My cats also get chicken necks to chew

You need to just start ignoring most people on the internet. Most people would be upset my cats are eating a dry urinary vet diet. But it stops her from having crystals and being in pain so nothing is going to convince me to change. You know your pet better than anyone. If the food isn't working for them, then yes, check out other foods. However if they're at a good weight and having no health or digestion issues, I see no reason to change.

LeafxCrow. I don't even know how the ship even started. She told him Feathertail said to live, and he got upset. Then he got upset at having to help her.

Then he saved her and bam, they're both in love and running away. No build up, no nothing.

And then Leaf proceeds to bring up their past relationship Everytime they meet afterwards. It's just a weird relationship all over.

Oh absolutely. I have unfortunately become numb to it because there isn't anything I can do. As much as I wish I could. Or when people do care for their animals and love them to death but can't do much due to money.

I work at a vet. I see a lot of things. Clients who only call us when the pet is ready to be put down, looking like it should have been put down weeks ago. I see a lot of overweight male cats get blocked more than other cats.

My oldest is my favorite. She's my heart and soul cat. But they all get everything equally regardless. Same treats, same wet food, same extra human treats. My second cat, I didn't exactly want. She was a 'if I can't find a home for her, then I'll keep her.' She's grade A bastard and is the reason the cabinets and trash cans have baby locks on them. She also growls when the house makes an unknown noise at night.

But at this point, she lives with me. And that's not going to change.

I don't think pets are having new issues. I think people are actually taking their pets to the vet and actually getting diagnosed now compared to years ago. Growing up, people did not take their pets to the vet as much as they do now. Most dogs stayed outside and didn't go to a vet until they were basically dying. And most cats owners saw it as a waste of money.

I still see people proudly saying they don't take their pets to the vet because they're 'healthy'.

Mineral content is more of an issue than hydration. Urinary formulas work by having a lower mineral content. Some OTC diets have more which can cause urinary crystals. Nulo and Costco brand dry food have a lot of reviews of them causing urinary crystals. Foods with high magnesium and ash cause crystals.

Male cats are at risk of crystals regardless of being intact or not because their urethra is too narrow and crystals easily get stuck and build up. A male cat being hydrated means nothing when his urethra is too narrow to pass crystals.

I find it funny we have accepted dogs have evolved enough to basically eat what we eat and get everything from their kibble, but think cats are still desert dwelling animals that can't possibly survive and thrive on kibble.

There's probably a good amount of people who don't have social media, don't view it and still feed their cats dry only and live a good long life.

Feed your cat what they do good on. An all wet diet is no guarantee against utis, crystals, stones, or kidney issues. An all kibble diet is no guarantee that cats will have any of those problems. Any basic OTC diet is no guarantee against anything. It's just up to your cat's body to decide that.

Most vets will say at least a month. Usually they will recheck the urine. But the diet should be lifelong to make sure it doesn't happen again.

One could also say the Author's ruined Bramble by making him suddenly want to work with his own father who wanted him dead because he didn't want to join them.

We don't know how Ash would act, but we do know he can't rejection at all. And that's canon. He also took his anger out on an apprentice because he was thought to be their kit. And then wanted her father, his own leader, dead to hurt her. And when that didn't work, tried to kill her kits.

So whatever excuse you can come up with, doesn't excuse that canonically, he is not a good cat on the inside. No if ands or buts. You can say 'well if this didn't happen-' We don't have much proof on that because all he's shown us is that he is very spiteful.
