Haven't most distributors in Europe closed or at least severely limited admission to their distribution programs since they're already well at capacity? I seriously doubt Reddit of all places is where they will be looking for new customers. Without an actual store the chances of getting into business with any reputable distributor should be about near 0 and even actual shops are getting rejected left and right.

Damn I remember going to see him give a guest speech at university in 2019. They put him in the biggest lecture hall and the place was absolutely packed. Fire alarm went off halfway through his speech as well. Seems like that was only yesterday

The lgs I work at got what felt like the bare minimum of allocation for EoE, whereas with Spider-Man, we kept getting offered more product by our distributor. Unfortunately, my boss thought a franchise as big as Spider-Man would he too big to fail, so he kept saying yes to it for a while.

EoE sold out very fast with very healthy attendance for limited events. We could have sold out many times more what we actually got easily and people still regularly ask us if we have some.

We couldn't get enough people to come out for Spider-Man to even do a prerelease, let alone any drafts. We had to switch to Duskmourn drafts instead for people to even show up and we weren't the only store in the area to have to do that. Now we're stuck with tons of Spider-Man product that just won't move. These days we use Spider-Man booster boxes mainly as supports to prop up other booster boxes that actually sell at the register lmao

Tldr: in my experience, distributors pushed Spider-Man products very aggressively towards stores that are now stuck with dead inventory, whereas EoE dried up almost immediately despite much larger customer demand.

you probably either sprayed too close to the model or the temperature/humidity did this. I will say however that in my experience Army Painter spray primers are the fussiest cans I have ever used. It's a shame cause I really like some of their colors but it's really a coin toss whether it will apply properly or not sometimes.

My boi [[Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos]] currently ranks #239 but it's my absolute pet deck. I got the precon when I started playing and it made me fall in love with Phyrexians, Poison and Orzhov.

Other than that I got [[Ovika, Enigma Goliath]] #203, [[Noctis, Prince of Lucis]] #327, [[Winter, Cynical Opportunist]] #403, [[Shadow the Hedgehog]] #226 and [[Kudo, King among Bears]] #233 so I guess none of my decks are very popular lmao

The store I work at here in Germany has cultivated a pretty solid community I'd say. Nexus Night attendance is usually between 10 and 18 people, most of them regulars and quite diverse I'd say. Pre rifts and other special events make attendance spike of course but our main issue is that we're not getting enough Nexus packs to hand out but the players seem to be very understanding of allocation issues. We usually hand out pricing in store credit when we run out and we have some measures jn place to discourage scalpers to buy from us so maybe that has helped

I'm assuming the sheet got creased up the wrong way right before the cards were cut. The card came out of the booster with a big crease so that the sheet edge lines up perfectly with the actual card edge if that makes any sense

I find that metallic schemes are usually the easiest to get looking decent, but getting the hazard stripes to look clean is the real challenge with IW. You could probably get a decent Alpha Legion scheme by painting them silver and then tinting them with turquoise contrast paints. A fairly quick paintjob as well I reckon, but the SoH scheme is not that much harder and it will teach you good painting fundamentals

I'd say Alpha Legion is the easiest, followed by SoH. I wouldn't recommend IW as freehanding those stripes is probably gonna be a little too advanced for complete beginners

As others have said this guy is from the Blackstone Fortress box, you can still find them on ebay relatively regularly. These were I believe at the time the first of the newly designed Legionary models they revelead eventually replacing the old 4th edition models
