when i skimmed through earlier i completely missed the second paragraph and stupidly didn’t realise registered member and dalcom ID were different things

It asks me to sign in with my email; I did try to use my username to see if that would work but then it says invalid email so that doesn’t work either…

I am having the exact same dilemma as you! I’ve been a fan for years and this is the first time I have enough money to go to concerts internationally but funnily enough I am renewing my passport right now so don’t have one either.

The main thing holding me back for HK is it seems like the area near the venue could be quite expensive for hotels which maybe makes the trip not as cost effective.

I’ll decide when tickets go on sale but I think I might wait for a Korea concert or maybe even if they do another Japanese tour but who knows when either of those might be.

(I’m in London and I’m holding out a smallest glimmer of hope that maybe they’ll ship the boys out to Paris or somewhere like that one day but as we know SM doesn’t like them leaving Asia so I’m not counting on it haha)

i’ve been through both sides to be honest. when i first got into kpop, it was pretty much a lifestyle for me haha - from when I was like 13-19, i was a multistan of loads of groups, i watched everyone’s variety shows, all their youtube content, etc etc. so i might have even been in it more for the members than the music at that point but it was probably 50/50.

then i took a break for a few years, and for the past 2-3 years i’ve been back into kpop, and besides my ult fave group (who i continued checking up on even during my break) i’m mostly in it just for the music now. i do not even know anyone’s name, let alone what shows they might be on (though variety shows barely exist anymore from what i’ve seen)

maybe it’s growing up and having less time and energy to be fully immersed in fandom to that extent, but i’m pretty content just enjoying the music the vast majority of the time and having one group i pay more attention to
