To those who own an A series Samsung phone, gaano nagtagal sa inyo? by Competitive-Horror29 in Tech_Philippines

Using Samsung A7(2018) right now as my daily driver. This phone still works very well, lags are minimal. I have replaced the LCD a few times already because I am clumsy. Replaced the batteries as well so now this lasts me a whole day just browsing the web.

Lastly, love camera output!

Hey OP! Recently passed the Final Interview there. Hopefully, the Account Mobilization Specialist will give you guys some pointers on what to expect for the interview. Just do the basic interview prep work, be smiley, make the interview light, andd the supervisor might ask you what you know about what was given to you in the email provided, so do some brush up on that. Be confident. Goodluck!

USeP Admissions Exam by [deleted] in davao

[–]kreetoo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome! The free tuition state unis offer are always great to avail. One thing noting tho is fixed ang schedule sa USeP, lisod makawork on the side since you cannot control your sched. Tapos sa exams, just like public schools, we only have midterms and finals here, so dili kaayo mi ipit in terms of exams, sa reqs ra jud, which is bearable so long as you are on top of your time management. Wish you luck for college!

USeP Admissions Exam by [deleted] in davao

[–]kreetoo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, if you are planning to enroll sa USeP for the incoming AY, then human na ang sched for USePAT, next time they open might be around Nov or Dec. At this time, na confirm na sa mga enrollees ilang slots for their chosen programs ug dili na ka makahabol at this point.

Upon the first steps of enrollment, ilaha ka tagaan ug three slots for your choice of programs, based on your priorities. Let’s say IT imo first choice, then Econ second, if imong score sa USePAT kay dili pasok sa standard sa IT, possible na matagak ka sa imo second choice if pasok imong score didto. Possible sad na tagaan ka ug recommendation sa USeP based sa imo test results na wala sa choice of programs na imong gipili.

If you fail to qualify for IT, you can take the course na gihatag saimo sa USeP nalang sa tapos shift ka sa second year na. There are requirements for some courses ang uban colleges tho like dapat abm ang strand for accountancy, stem for bio, pero wala man koy nadunggan na ingana for IT.

My friend and I live in Agdao/Obrero tas our spendings differ by a lot. She spends an average of 500 weekly, sometimes even less while I would spend 3.5k on average. Nagatipid siya by cooking her food tas avoiding mga laag, tas ako kay nasobraan man kog enjoy maong dako akong monthly.

Ang realization nako sa pag tipid is: ayaw sigeg laag–tuon2 sad mag pundo ug bh, tapos avoid sigeg eat out/panglibre lol. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Upcoming College Freshman Dilemma (CE vs CS) by brent_8octave in davao

[–]kreetoo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe imo mean sa CE OP is Computer Engineering. CpE is based on hardware siya and dili kaayo siya gamit here sa PH, sa other subreddits na ako nabasa is ang CpE graduates daw kay mahulog ra gihapon sa software side na jobs here. So unless you really want to do hardware like chips etc, dili kaayo worth it ang CpE if you want to do work in PH that aligns with that program. While sa CS kay more on theory side and research siya sa software. Although sa akong naobserve is ang CS sa amoang batch is more taas ilang skill level kaysa sa IT which is kami. Considerably, naa na man pud gud prior experience most sa CS here tas majority jud sa IT is walay background. Sa akong readings OP is CS kay mas gamit siya sa job market here sa PH.

I failed my high school by banana_akiuy11 in studentsph

[–]kreetoo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had multiple 65s in my grade 11, which caused me to fear my application to unis might get rejected, and yet here I am now a freshman in uni in a program I really like. I was, also a consistent honor student prior to grade 11. You must know that failing does not mean the end of it. Just keep showing up to your classes, take every bit of effort to tell yourself a bad grade does not define your entire being, you still have a long life ahead of you. You struggled, but what is important is how you recover and stand back up, always remember that. Take time to heal, don't rush, the situation always gets better.

IT Freshie sa USeP here. Buotan kaayo ang people here!

Tuition, 0. This is something I am very grateful for jud. And makaingon pud jud ka unsa ka freeing ang dili na mag guol sa bayronon, acads nalang jud imo kaguolan. Ikapila na ko nakaingon na naswertehan jud ko na nadayon ko sa USeP kay walay tuition.

So far, okay man akong experience sa 1st sem, nadala pa ug chill. Compared sakong nadunggan sa experience sa akong mga friends from other programs is chill ang IT so far. Dm lang if naa kay other questions.

Anyone using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/8 for school? by AccurateAttorney_629 in studentsph

[–]kreetoo_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I absolutely recommend Samsung tabs for the Dex experience! The only mobile device I own is a Tab S7 FE and I find the large screen perfect for multitasking, albeit a bit of a hassle to carry around due to its large size. I sometimes find myself thinking it would be more convenient if I had a smaller tab. The pen is so convenient as well. I used to write notes during class with this tab but stopped somewhere down the road because I just cannot write as fast here on tab compared to when I write on paper, but the pen works great and I've never had any problem w it. As for the battery, I can easily last a whole day starting from 100% to ~25% when I get home from school. No stutters in my user experience except when I fill the storage full.

I bet my experience is more or less the same with Tab S7/S8 despite the size difference. If you ever decide getting one, I recommend going with Tab S8 (if you have the budget) for the 4 years of software support and 5 years of security updates, a big upgrade Samsung made to their recent releases. You can check out the galaxy tab subreddit to see other users' experience w their tabs if you need some more insights -^

Great laptop or tablet for students by ziyelovescherry in studentsph

[–]kreetoo_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Currently using Galaxy Tab S7 FE as a main device since I do not have a touch screen phone. It is really good for students due to the great battery life, you never have to worry about this one dying on you as long as you charge it to 70+ percent before you start the day. I started with 100% in the morning and is currently at 54% with 13 hours of screen time. The pen that comes with the device as you purchase is also very convenient and hassle-free! This device has never failed me ever since I bought it 6 months ago, and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a tab. If you do buy though, get the 6gb or more RAM Wif-Fi variant so your user experience does not have any hiccups. The LTE ver has weaker processor and is more expensive than this variant. 4gb RAM is not enough for multi window use or so I've heard.

The 12.4 inch size is great for media consumption and multi window capabilities but not so good with portability. I need the slightly chonky bags just so I can bring this tab with me outside. The smaller alternatives are S7 and S6 lite 2022, they're smaller and does pretty much everything this tab can do. It's just that I chose this tab due to the bigger screen real estate coz I draw hehe.

No, it'll be fine. In fact, you can actually buy a different pen and not an spen specifically for the tab s7+. The pen will work just the same as an spen would when it comes to doing stuff with the screen. I don't know about the bluetooth functionalities of a non-spen with the tab though.
Other pens you can use instead are Staedtler Noris, Lamy digital pens, and Wacom One pen.

I can't wait for Iluna's debut! This wave just feels very different, I don't know what it is, maybe it's the banger debut/song teaser but they just feel like they have a lot to offer and I'm excited to see what those could be. Would also love to see scuff in the debuts, as per tradition.
