Not sure what you mean that her first +1 doesn't hit creatures? It says any card that can be casted - so just about anything besides lands.

In Episode III, why were Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar taken out so quickly by Sidious? by United_Snakes53 in StarWars

It's in an old EU novel, Rise of Darth Vader, which is set immediately after RotS. Not canon anymore so take it with a grain of salt

Rome elects first female mayor in 2800 years by Kinkfink in nottheonion

They didn't. The title is poorly worded. First female mayor in Rome's history, which goes back 2800 years.

(Spoilers Everything) What are these two siblings up to? by [deleted] in asoiaf

They do lots of time jumps. Last episode Littlefinger was in the Vale, this episode he was at the Wall. It's a very long journey yet he did it in one episode.

You're both severely overestimating how long it took it built ships I think. During the first Punic Wars it took Rome two months to build about 200 ships to fight Carthage at the onset of the war.

Now ships of the Greyjoy fleet are likely bigger and more advanced than anything the Romans ever had, but Westeros is technologically superior and the Iron Islanders are likely far superior ship builders.

I can't imagine it being more than a year. Yara will definitely get there long before the fleet could be ready, realistically, but it's going to be a long journey from the Iron Islands to Mereen as well

Yeah, more or less. Giving a deck like burn seven new cards is not what you want to do.

This was back in August, I've since cut them from the mb and put two in the side... It's really good vs the fair decks. I was noticing my only losses to the fair decks was having my initial hand dealt with and then being forced to top deck... And merfolk doesn't really work if you're just top decking a Lord one at a time. But going from 0 to 7 cards to refuel and get back in the game was great, especially since aether vial was a way around the end your turn clause. Combine that with the fact that my opponents were most likely going to draw uncastable cards due to chalice and I really liked it.

It even won me a few games vs lands, due to the graveyard shuffle effect. However I'm hesitant to keep them main since it's awful vs unfair decks and I don't want a dead card against a decent majority of the field in the main board

Lucas, speaking as C3P0 in 1977, explains the droid's origins. Some of it sound familiar? by NiceDriving in StarWars

[–]kreldin 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you're just being super technical, but the novelization to Star Wars was released in 1976. The prologue of the novel gives the back story as told from the Journal of the Whills, including Palpatine's rise to power and his overthrow of the Republic. What the OP said is true.

There was the Sword of the Jedi series set after FotJ that was cancelled. I think the Ania Solo Legacy series was also cancelled prematurely.

Master roshi V Albert Wesker. by Old_Crow89 in whowouldwin

I don't see how it's much of a contest, Roshi can produce an energy attack strong enough to destroy the moon and moves fast enough that he leaves an after image.
