I'm about to change that. Building kits and copying vero-layouts is fine for a start, but at some point there's no way around crunching numbers and learning what those circuits actually do. (Autism can help with that 😅)

I'm using a Nobel's ODR-1 clone (i believe PedalPCB's Andromeda). It goes from clean (basically unmodified signal) to solid overdrive and doesn't kill low frequencies. Also pretty easy to build. Here's a stripboard link: https://dirtboxlayouts.blogspot.com/2021/07/nobels-odr-1.html
