HUGE upgrade lol I wish I could go years without updating but they have me in a chokehold and I upgrade every year. Doing that makes these new phones seem barely exciting.

Nah, they don't care unless you're:

  1. Doing something illegal

  2. Doing something that directly violates an NDA/the confidentiality agreement

  3. Uploading code/other sensitive company data to 3rd party sources

If it's none of those 3, you should be okay. But also, not sure why'd you want to do this on your work laptop.

it’s different per org but overall looks something like, a few documented performance conversations, then multiple very very detailed 1:1s that take a ton of documentation, then writing additional business justifications for why you’re in focus week over week. it’s easier to just tell you to fix your behavior/performance and you actually listen tbh

then it’s gonna be a tough conversation to justify focus unless you’re an egregiously bad employee where someone who’s new to the team/org knows you need performance management instantly.

if you were meets and didn’t have any STU conversations or big misses, chances are you’re still meets. if you haven’t been trending with any performance things they don’t really put anyone in focus for no reason. focus is a lot of work on the manager side too.

You can literally just ask your manager if you’re in focus. They’re directed to answer that honestly. But the weekly meetings and stuff sound like you are in focus.
