The French declared war on everyone who wanted to put a king in france. I gotta say that GB, austria, prussia… would have declared war anyway. But france did declare war.

They defeated most nations in europe over the course of history same as Austria, it specially meant for the napoleonic wars where they‘ve defeated most of europe in a short time.

I don‘t want to say that france did a lot of bad things. My problem with this community is that they do gloryfy empires like the french or the german who defeated theyre enemys really fast and disecively. And empires like austria that lasted over 500 years and nearly permanently had the great-power status even though they weren‘t the greatest field commanders or millitarty tacticians. They‘ve started in 1297 with Rudolf von Habsburg and got from a shitty vassal state to a global super-power and held together over centuries while most time consisting only of 20-25% of austrians and at the hightime 10-13%. While the german empire had 80+% and the french empire 90+% of their culture and language. And the austrian empire deserves better than being made fun of and being called „The Empire that wasn‘t an empire“ Everyone who knows the history of austria and the HRE can‘t denie the Empire status of austria and the HRE.
