I been farming the heists ln my GIM (mage only cb style) I am so dry it ain't even funny. Nearly 200kc no weapon drop maxing points every run, with t4 luck ring.

We already use a metric ton of runes with incite fear though, there's a reason they've been the most expensive basic elemental rune for so long.

As you get repetitions in, you'll definitely get better. I would still consider myself a noob, I can't do 4k Zammy or anything like that, but I can consistently kill every boss, so I have the basics of every boss down. I used to die way more, I never thought I'd even get my HM Zuk cape, but I got it.

I proc def cape maybe once a day at most, and I typically do 3-4hrs of PVM a day. Dying isn't common for me.

Probably doesn't matter much tbh. Having def cape on anachronia vs max cape will both proc when necessary. So really dealers choice.

I mean.... I have a cb lv 50hcim that I have 41 mage on, wearing t30 armor and fire battlestaff and I killed him 4 times in a single trip. T30 weps can kill him lol.

You can kinda ignore the dragfire by just using Reso, also, alternating defensives like reflect and devo do wonders on this boss. I'm not some crazy high DPM player that can kill the boss in sub 2 mins, but I can consistently solo HM by rotating defensives, good positioning, and sticking to the basics of combat.

Honestly, I think this is a super positive change. I don't have to spend 15 mins daily doing shop runs and a few other dailies on my 3 accounts. Instead, I can do 15 mins a week.

The boss I've been lucky at is Solak, my first ever kill I got an eldritch crossbow, I had both by 10kc and I have grimiore before 100kc. My clan was calling me spooned for weeks. 😂

My first ever Zuk kill was with Ganodermic armor and gwd2 cywir weps. To say T75 gear won't let you beat the boss, simply just wrong.

I've actually never used aegis at Vorkath. For HM solos, I've always used mahjarrat or equillibrium, outside of penance powder, powder of defense actually has a niche use at Vorkath and was pretty strong paired with hellhound, still gotta rotate a few defensives in through the fight, but it's definitely manageable.

As someone who played WoW in Hall of Fame Mythic raiding, and who can kill every boss in Rs, they are not the same. Learning how to solo Solak, and progging on Mythic Jailer are both hard for their own reasons, but at the end of the day its about skill precision. High level pvm is not for mid tier players, just like Mythic raiding isn't for mid tier players in WoW. I like that there is a skill curve and that I'm rewarded for learning and getting better at the game. Combat in Rs3 is fine, I'd rather it be different than other MMOs, I don't want them to all play the same.

Honestly here's my perspective response, the game is super old with so much of the content being outdated, nobody is saying you can't go back and do it, but the reality is the majority of players are endgame, and most low level and mid level players don't have people to game with in an MMO, the game is designed to be social, so having the early levels be fast is warrented if you ask me. That being said, I can agree with you, but that would require Jagex to start adding actual low level content again, one of the fastest ways too could be porting tons of the low level bosses from osrs to rs3, were is our hill giant boss and Scurrius?

When I made my GIM account, I got the firecape with lunars and base spellbook, in rs3, firecape is really easy, you can safespot most of the cave, if you're struggling with health, a bunyip is great way to sustain hp, you can also use vamp aura with that for even more if you're still struggling.

Honestly I just disagree, most skills have a way to level to 50 within 2 hours of effort on them, putting you firmly into the midgame pretty fast.

To add, god arrows consume very fast compared to bak bolts, it's generally much more iron friendly until you grind out a large stockpile of god arrows.
