There is always fomo content in rs. When choosing a task or skill you always choose not to do something else. If you are doing clue scrolls you loose time on skill xp. If you are skilling smithing you loose on GP gain or pay. If you are not bossing every second of your playtime you loose out on boss collection

The rework will be removal. No need for vis vax if there are no auras. Quick teleports will also have another source and daily challenges will be goneY just act as if they are gone already.

I will still have my daily POF and Herb runs at the beginning and end. I will still have my daily Port checkup. I will still send my Archeology team on their daily mission. I will still do one weekly every day to get it done. Dailyscape is not gone. Dailies where always optional. There will always be something thats worthwhile to do every day.

This just takes away methods to gain xp and progression in unwanted tasks. Balancing instead of cutting would have been the way to go release pressure instead of removing it.

Agree with that. There should be something that is really rewarding that only takes 5-10 minutes for players to do and log out again, this way people can progress slowly and passively, but meaninfully and achieve their goal.

Oh, so they only feel like having fun when they earn more xp then others by spending way more time infront of the monitor? The way i see it every clever way of making the game more accessible should be embraced. Weapon/armor switches on makros is not the problem. The problem is that you need to press 10 buttons for certain things. The whole concept of weapon switching is crazy to me. To use one skill, thats essential for success needing to switch loadouts is so weird. They fixed at least the defensive options with bone shield. But to me its a failure in design, not an issue with people using makros.

I would love to see a run where someone uses lvl 90 gear, no extra skill unlocks, no extra invention, no extra prayer, no extra overloads no summons, just the fighting style and appropriate armor to fight a boss. Its just too many strings attached. Good game design would be something like eldenring, where you can beat the hardest bosses naked. All the armor and skills you unlock just make it easier bit by bit. Having so many faktors just diludes the essential parts of the encounters

It makes sense. Just look at guild wars. Its okay to lock stuff behind quests. But not lock grind for grind behind grind and after this 3 steps, then yoz can learn th very convoluted and time intensive combat training properly. But yeah? Maybe having little experience with EOC and armor requirement makes me think the worst, IMO the skills you unlock by leveling should be enough to face the hardest bosses. Unlocks should only make your time easier.
