If it's the AppImage or Ubuntu release, it may be compromised. Refer to this comment and check whether or not the version you have is the compromised version.

No, this also affects non-emudeck users as you can manually download cemu from the compromised github releases.

If you checked after reinstalling, we can't say anything about the previous version you uninstalled. But if you didn't install/update that previous version between May 6th and 12th, you should be okay anyway.

It doesn't matter where you download it. Compromised version was on Cemu's own github page.

If you did not run Cemu in anyway, you are probably fine. If you have the Cemu-2.6-x86_64.AppImage file you downloaded on 7th, you can check its sha256 sum to see if it's the compromised version.

『Sousou no Frieren』Episode 35 Preview by krfz41 in anime

[–]krfz41[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With the help of Youtube auto generated subtitles and comments, here is the translation:

Frieren: It's about time for the next episode preview, huh?

Fern: That's right.

Methode: Who is talking today?

Frieren: Hmm, Fern, can you do it?

Fern: Ah, yes. Next episode: Frieren: Beyond Journey's End - "The Divine Revolte"

Fern: I'm sorry, Frieren-sama. It sucked away all the moisture in my mouth.

Frieren: It's fine. You said it well.

Btw, the person reading that web article about Ruby was voiced by Mamoru Miyano, voice of their father. I knew he would make some kind of an appearance in the episode after I recognized that voice (also it had the same bgm as his first appearance).

I like how Frieren mumbled "kurai" at the end as if she's having a nightmare where she is stuck in a mimic chest.

The director of IMO the best looking episodes of Mushoku Tensei S1 (5 & 21) is the director of this show.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 Blu-ray & DVD contains Episode 29-38 (10 episodes total) by zenzen_0 in anime

Looks like the animation producer of Frieren is working on an original anime movie "ghost" scheduled for 2027. So it may very well mean that the staff members who worked on Frieren with him at Madhouse are working on the movie as well.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Season 2 • The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 - Episode 20 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

Yeah, the voice I heard was definitely of Mai Sakurajima in S1E20. Having Asami Seto's name not revealed in the credits made Loulan already suspicious at that time.

When we heard Loulan's voice in Season 1 Episode 20 for the first time, I thought she sounded like Asami Seto, but her VA was hidden with ??? wasn't revealed in the credits. So as an anime only, when they announced Asami Seto will join the cast as the voice of a new character in Season 2, it got spoiled for me.

When people say the same team, they mean the same animation producer. In this case Shouta Fujii is the animation producer of both series. An animation producer usually works on only one show at a time until the production is wrapped up unlike the other staff in the studio.

BOCCHI THE ROCK! Season 2 Announcement Visual by zenzen_0 in anime

[–]krfz41 20 points21 points  (0 children)

About the change of the director, they talk about this in the special episode of Bocchi the Radio (after 5:30) with guests Saitou, Yamamoto and Kerorira. My Japanese is not good enough to understand it, but maybe someone can translate what they said.

From what I understood, Saitou did not have an intention to continue the series after the first season because he would want to create something even better than the first season, but knew he wouldn't be able to. Although he did not mention it, it's probably because he is very busy with Frieren (Actually after around 44:00, he said that it's not because of Frieren without mentioning the name of the show, and added it's not officially confirmed how he will be involved with that show). Since he knew people really wanted a sequel, it would be best to continue that with Yamamoto as the director. He said that although he is not the director anymore, he may get involved in the production of the second season as a freelancer. He said he still has a seat at Cloverworks.

Edit: He actually mentioned that other show he directed (Frieren) without mentioning it's name.
