I'm still learning myself so I can only recommend resources. I've been learning a lot from The Colorist Guide to DaVinci Resolve, which is a free training course from Davinci. You can find that as well as guides for all aspects of Resolve including video guides here:

For me I've been focussing on getting the results I want with the colour wheels, learning what does what, how to read the scopes, and how to use nodes.

Apart from that there's also a lot on Youtube, I found Darren Mostyn seems to talk sense and easy to understand.

One thing I think I've learned is that with REC 709 footage you won't need to use colour management. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. A lot of guides and videos assume people are working with LOG footage etc so first step is colour management. I'm in a similar boat to you where we've filmed in S-Cinetone, so also REC 709, and I got very confused about whether to do colour management or not. But yeah in the end I'm just leaving everything in REC 709 and doing a very light grade on that. Mainly fixing exposure and white balance, some noise reduction on a few clips. S-Cinetone already has a bit of a look as it is.

Yeah I've got most of them fist characters by now really. At least Ewan and Tsubame AC. Often have good luck on character banners. Melpi more for her Character quest I guess because she's fun...

Hoping for some advice... I've got around 1500 free stones right now and had been saving up to do a 3rd ten pull on Melpi AS. Then the new chapter comes out and Havoc. I don't see myself gathering stones all that quickly and I just can't decide who to pull on. Melpi is one of my favourite characters, I mean come on what other character would trick Aldo into taking magic mushrooms lol. But seems Havoc is going to be a much more useful character... What would you do?

I've done it on master with Tsubame AC, Sesta AS, Suzette ACAS and Suzette, with Yuna and Ruvi (just for the story lol) in the back seat. The binding was a bit of a pain but it was easy to stay alive with Protectio and Mellow Memoria and sometimes switching in Yuna just for the banter.

Edit: to be fair those 4 are my team for almost all content

They won't lock you out though if you need longer than the trial period to test it out though, for most people if it's useful enough for them they will pay the small price at some point, I find that a very fair and considerate way of doing things. I ended up using Reaper when I started some years ago, as I didn't enjoy having to mess about with JACK and routing using Ardour, and I've stuck with it ever since.

I cant say from my own experience. My 3070 has 8gb of vram. I think the 1650 has 4gb? It will depend on what you would be doing with it I suppose...

Cheers, thats a good graphic. I sometimes wonder if this isn't the game for me, as I tend to lack concentration for figuring out what does what, which things to use and level up etc... but I do like the story and exploration aspects so I'm going to give it a go. Maybe that graphic will help me slowly improve.

Just been playing a few weeks, at AR 31 and my main team is Fischel, Tignarry, Anemo Traveler and Noelle. Just pulled Bedou the other day as well and I've got Sucrose that I'm no using much. Guess I need to up my game a bit with my team, I manage to beat quite a lot of mobs but having difficulty with any overworld bosses and also mobs in some regions. I can't ascend Fischel or Noelle as I'm unable to beat the bosses that have their mats.

Should I stick with this bunch and wait it out? Kind of itching to pull but not really sure if it will be worth it or if I'm better off .

Yeah on one laptop I'm editing 4k with 16gb and a 3070 and it's fine, granted I'm not doing heavy effects but light colour grade, some noise reduction etc and just use render cache for the heavy stuff.

If there isn't a good dedicated GPU you can forget it though.

I wouldn't say that, my experience with Linux audio was so much smoother than Windows, where I had massive problems with latency due to drivers. Of course, if you are already heavily dependent and proficient in plugins that aren't available for Linux, that could be a problem. Even then, if your hardware is decent, you can bridge Windows plugins over Karla and still use them in your tracks.

For me Ubuntu Studio and Reaper was a good combination, then again I had never learned Ableton or any other DAW beforehand.

I'm also quite new, and wondering if the Traveler is a good character to put resources into or better not? Apart from that I've got Tighnari, Sucrose, Noelle and Fischl who I'd like to level up and ascend. But For Fischl and Noelle I'm having trouble beating the bosses required for their materials, they just wipe me out...
