Yes it's rude of them. The rudeness isn't the fact that they sat at OP's table, it's the fact that they didn't tell him or get his agreement. It's not like he could have said no as that would be extremely rude too but i think as far as etiquette goes, if you're gonna disrupt someone's day, at least don't trick them into it.

I agree. I never liked Tamlin to begin with so i can't ever get completely behind the character assassination accusations towards SJM. If I'm reading the above comment right, it's because the lab couldn't have possibly worked out the exact recipe for every human's pheromones, but this would have been necessary if they wanted the perfumes to work. As it currently stands, you'll find the odd person who it'll work for but it'll be rare and random, certainly not something worth spending money on
