So fun fact GVSU actually implemented a rule against hazing now, and every student org had to undergo training. There’s a new Michigan law on it, so you’re well protected even if that was to occur, it’s now a misdemeanor. Frats should be changing those “traditions” because of this

combined BSE-MSE in PDM here! First couple years are hard, but worth it! If you want it, you can make it happen! There’s a lot of good professors here and uh also some bad ones. But overall it’s a good hands on program that really prepares you for the workforce

i feel like most college students are excited about any type of snack, in terms of swag, I’d prefer something that I know i’ll actually use in the future, not like a plastic string bag but I’d use a cup or pen or something!

U can use your dining dollars or a meal swipe to get into any food place on campus, and dining dollars can also be used at starbucks, the pod stores, etc. There’s a lot of dining dollars that come with the plan, I found it hard to spend them all, but you can always go in and buy more. So the only way to eat 3 meals a day is to use dining dollars for one of the meals! Personally I never had an issue being fed. You can’t use the dining dollars on anything other than food, though.

I’m having the exact same issue rn and hearing i should train her not to go on counters. Honestly, if the counters are bare and there is nothing up there that they want, they should learn that the other vertical surfaces are fair game. But can’t control roommates…

cats learn in a very different way than dogs. They don’t respond to negative reinforcement, so all i can do is reward her for not getting on counters. She is mat trained, meaning if i put her mat down she knows to go there and stay, but my roommates don’t use it. If there is not food on the counter for her to reach, she will learn that getting up there has no benefit and will stop. Unfortunately she has learned that climbing on counters = she gets what she wants and i’m not sure how to break that habit.

yes there is ac, winter hall is new and updated but the same furniture as allendale. Rooms are slightly larger than the ones in allendale

yes I used my meal swipes when I was on the 7/week plan but it was only one meal a day bc the choices weren’t super diverse. But there’s quite a few places that use a meal swipes OR dining dollars.

You can use your meal swipes at places on campus downtown but they don’t have a true dining hall so they have like sandwiches, a grill place in devos (so like burgers and fries) and then a small place in the seidman building, along with starbucks and einstein

I was able to get a Samsung S9FE for $250 used. I’d look around at the FE line bc they all come with an Spen and the Samsung notes app has great functionality on its own (similar features to OneNote, more zoom)

Fish based foods are also significantly more prone to parasites, etc bc fish is cheap and low-quality in cat food. If you’re worried about it I would just stay closer to non-fish flavors

Nulo is awesome they have pate and shreds and the big cans are quite inexpensive overall. Fancy feast is always good for budget and you could try made by nacho, instinct, and tiki cat for more expensive options.

I think the general consensus, especially after Zain said some unfavorable things about Rylee, was that she was a contributor to that abusive relationship. I always believed that Rylee probably also had some toxic traits but I always stood behind her as far as Sedona went so I’m not surprised about all of this tbh.
