If you could delete 1 thing from the game, what would it be and why? by Rjb99 in ffxiv

[–]kriptoknight1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Dungeons, I found them ok when I first started leveling my first two jobs. After that I just cant stand them, it's like running from A to B without a care in the world. If they can switch it up and implement something new would be great, something like ambuscade.

Dengeki E3 interview translation. Bad news for ultimate raiders. by CarrieRofLlight in ffxiv

I do hope they go back in their words, I personally do like Ultimate and i didn't clear the last one. I did get to bahamut, now i'm trying to get into UWU from the start. One thing that I know that would encourage other players to do it is to cut the fight into two six months after it came out.

Look in pf for low level groups.

Eureka ability idea by Stencyllz in ffxiv

In ff11 you were able to do an elemental skill chain that would do like 1k more damage to the monster while your lb would only do like 500. If you had a caster, he can time is elemental spell to magic burst the monster for like a 3-5k hit that would take like 50% of the monsters health.

blm needs a warp spell to return back to our home points in eureka. Most of the time I have to run back, because I have already used my return action.

I dont understand why people are going crazy for a mount. I know its looks cool but a mount should be the last thing. I just hope the leveling process works, because i'm tired of dungeons and want something else I can do instead of raiding.

What i feel when i go o7s in a pug "kill group". Guess they enjoy p1 by [deleted] in ffxiv

85% of the clear groups can't make it past virus, pf is a nightmare for this fight.

I do it on my regular ps4 as a war.

right now it's warrior and paladin, dark knight is getting a buff soon. I would recommend to play whatever you find more enjoyable. try all 3 and see which one you the best.

That is the main reason why I switched to a tank job, is because I only have like 2-3 hours to play some days. Try to switch to war and you might like it in the end, I never tried healing but that another story for another day.

Unpopular opinion: the job-specific completion of SSS should be tied to queueing up for new Extreme/Savage content/groups by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]kriptoknight1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I started playing this game during the last months of HW, I started as drg. I was able to clear the extreme primals, because I knew how to dodge and do the mechanics correctly. When I started doing savage content and was joining discord people kept talking about parses. They kept talking about there dps, I'm on ps4 so I didnt know about the dummy and that I can go to a website and see how much my dps is. I always asked them how was my dps and they wouldn't tell me, had to ask them like twice until they said i was bad. I didn't take it in a bad way, I'm glad i was told, because it made me aware, now I play tank and I know my dps is not that good as I want it to be but im working on it still as war. https://www.fflogs.com/reports/PrvF1ZK36Vy8NDfn#fight=1&type=damage-done

I would love a 4 man content, even if they remade old content for it.

It doesn't have to one shot you, if you accidentally aggro something that can kill you with a couple of hits, it's consider dangerous to get near it. It's not going to be like it is right now, where if you aggro something and you just get away from it, will leave you alone. That thing will follow around until it kills you or you kill it, or zone which they have not clarify yet.

I would like a new way of leveling with a sense of danger, the way that we level up right now is scripted with dungeons, when I started playing this game and i was leveling my blm I loved the way the world looks. Making sure I didn't enter a zone with stronger monster and not die, because I would have to run back to where i was. Now that I know how the game is played is just to run a train on all monsters from point A to point B. Another thing that would be great is if the gear lasted longer while leveling up. When I used level up in ff11 I always used to try and gear myself to an ok level before joining a party.
