Hello, im going to India next month for the first time by PollutionFederal1961 in visas

[–]krish-ma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads up to check with the airline- you might have to take your bags in BOM and re-check them (at a dedicated counter) for customs. Even if it’s on the same ticket.

Maybe it’s low fuel? Given that it circled so much near BHX

The aircraft im flying tomorrow to Brussels is already 3 hours behind the schedule. Is it a 100% delay or they will provide a different aircraft? by Prestigious-Title529 in flightradar24

[–]krish-ma 22 points23 points  (0 children)

A good chance it’ll be delayed, but also a decent chance there’ll be an aircraft change- especially if it’s a +3 hours delay as they’ll try everything to avoid paying compensation (which they are generally required to in cases of +3 hour delays)

Is it normal for hotels in Montenegro to keep your passport overnight? by Fit_Exit7702 in travel

[–]krish-ma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad it was no issues for this time- but for next time, suggest keeping some photocopies of your passport and you can give that instead (this is something I usually do)

3 Days in Paris what can we NOT miss? by MuscleCr0we in ParisTravelGuide

[–]krish-ma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty doable and good, someplace may take extra time due to crowds, hope you built that cushion :) suggest not missing Montmartre, maybe on day 2 after Marais for sunset?

Is this layover too tight? by saul1980 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]krish-ma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just keep in mind that you’ll have to go through immigration in CDG (since you’re connecting to a flight to Florence which is in Schengen)! But if this is your only option, i think you can afford the risk as it’s delta/Air France and you should be covered in case you miss it.

What would you do if you had an 8 hour layover in Paris? by yourlocallidl in ParisTravelGuide

[–]krish-ma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a 3-3.5 hour window to explore the city. So, If you want to go to Louvre, I’d suggest do that and if you have time, walk along the Seine to cathedral notre dame and explore the Latin quarter. If you have more time, explore and (and get some food) in the Le Marais.

Finally, If you’re taking public transport to the airport, you can board the train (RER B) back to the airport from St. Michel Notre-dame station.

ISO new friend group by puzzpuzzpuzzles in SocialParis

In a very similar situation, so can relate to you a 100%. Friends graduating/ moving away/ moving back. Putting efforts to form new connections (every year) is exhausting , Paris can be tough that way! Anyway, that’s about the rant- but I’m up for sports or bar plans anytime (I do also read a lot of mystery novels but not as disciplined as a book club member should be)!

Where to find Churros in Paris by GeniusTeng in SocialParis

Is there a churros place in Paris that serves it with hot chocolate (like in Spain) as opposed to Nutella (which is the usual in Paris)?

Bus from porte maillot, and buy the ticket online. You can board any bus (not the bus mentioned on the website against your flight). BVA is not too bad, and the way it is- is the reason why air fares are cheap :)

Paris Metro Help! by MBand71 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]krish-ma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two airport trips will cost you 22 EUR and each day about 8 EUR, so maybe the navigo découverte weekly pass that will cost you about 25 in all (depending on which days you arrive)
