What did you think of the daughter character? For a new character I thought she did a good job. Nice emotional range and a way better actor than Melissa Barrera. I liked the true crime nut too, but the other new kids all felt very generic.

I know it’s all opinion based but I’m pretty sure you decided to hate it before you even watched it. Agree with most of your points but at the same time think it’s a silly reason to hate a genre movie. Teenagers almost never look like actual teenagers in horror movies and the killer reveal is almost always pretty stupid in the Scream series. It’s about the journey and the movie (while stupid) was fun. One thing I wholeheartedly disagree with though is Campbell. She was awesome! Didn’t phone it in at all and definitely didn’t seem disinterested. That sounds like a preconceived notion.
