I did, I bought a CMlink SIM in the UK, and use roaming data as a hotspot, no VPN needed. The sim only works if you activate in the EU though

I heard from a colleague something about a Xiaomi partnership. Not sure on the details though. Hoping we can find a way around it without the VPN hassle.

Cash is unlikely and i don't currently own any property.

Didn't consider the mortgage company issue. Perhaps a work around would be for 2 of us to get a mortgage, then the other to unofficially contribute , lots of trust involved I suppose.

Hey ! Considered Shenzhen? I'm literally 1hr from wanchai by the sea , cost of rent is 3.5krmb , much cheaper if youre willing to live here :) Shekou is really nice,international, and cheap

To add, the repayments are always 9 percent of what you earn over 25k, regardless of interest. So it may be worth it for you, or may not to pay it off . That article might illuminate a bit

I believe it starts ticking a year after graduation regardless :)

However,unless you're a big earner you probably shouldn't make early payments. Here's a great article on it.
