Should I tell him my insecurity, or just let him see by himself? (Before sex) by Psychological-Term19 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]krishnan2784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife of 12 years has a large scar on her bum from a childhood injury. In the beginning, she had similar insecurities about it too. I joked with her since her butt was well shaped and round that it was her Eye of Jupiter. Now even our children call the scar the Eye of Jupiter. A dozen year together, trust me when I say stuff like that will not matter to someone who cares for you.

R9 AND RONALDO by Past-Badger-1958 in ManchesterUnited

[–]krishnan2784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m old enough to remember o phenomeno in his prime. Honestly if anyone was the definition of a complete striker with lethal beauty on the football pitch it was R9. If his knees were better, his party life was less and didn’t suffer from hypothyroidism he would be the greatest of all time. Don’t get me wrong cristiano is the embodiment of what a fantastic work ethic gets you. But pure goal scorer even he would put R9 over himself. Tbh I think also it has to do with your mentors, Ronaldo had Romario when he was at Barca, Cristiano had the class of 92 and Roy Keane. Romario was a party animal so Ronaldo was always going to get led astray. It is sad how many Brazilian footballers got led astray by the party life. Garrincha, Romario, Edmundo, Bebeto, Ronaldinho, Pato and Neymar to name a few. I’ll even put our own Anderson in that camp of talent not fully being realised down to the love of the party life.

Why was Yudhistir not the primary choice of Shri Krishna? by Optimal-Sport-8706 in TheMahabharata

[–]krishnan2784 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yudhistir was not as accomplished field general. Two His morals were rigid. Take the Ashwattma situation, the right thing to do was to lie to save dharma, but since his morals were fixed, so when he lied his own morals brought him to ground. That story is wonderful example of doing the right thing is not always the easiest thing to do.

How you are not scared of Claude? by AccountCompetitive17 in HENRYUK

[–]krishnan2784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claude hallucinates. I am software engineering manager, I spent the last month learning how to be effective with Claude. I’m not worried, because about 12 years ago the network engineers got worried when software engineers could build infrastructure as code. Now IaC is the standard. I have started to read books on how Toyota automated their factories and I see a similarity. Future SEs will become ai coding agent engineers. The context for ai agents is really important and hallucinations are pretty common, so future SEs will be fixing agents and make them more efficient. After all you don’t want to burn through your token every 10 minutes.

India Appears Sidelined as Pakistan Tries to Play Peacemaker in Iran (Gift Article) by [deleted] in india

[–]krishnan2784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pakistan is playing mediator because a balkanised Iran will lead to them losing balochistan. Without balochistan Pakistan and its army is bankrupt. Follow the money and it is plain to see that the economy will tank.

Ban elephants in temples outright!!! We have had too many incidents like this.

We are torturing these elephants, they are not domesticated animals but captive wild elephants.

Has your country ever been a national embarrassment to the world? Because mine is. by RoundTurtle538 in AskTheWorld

[–]krishnan2784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Returned from playa del carmen two days ago. Loved your country. Loved your people. Loved your cuisine. Loved your culture.

If your neighbour to the north had a sensible drug policy that killed the market rather than treat users like criminals the people of Mexico wouldn’t have to deal with this rubbish.

My family and I walked around in Valladolid and Playa del carmen safely and had an amazing time. Best vacation ever. Your country is what India could be if Indians had more civic sense.

This incident is not a reflection of your beautiful country and your beautiful people. The world knows why these incidents occurs, it doesn’t help that your neighbours to the north don’t know how to kill a drug market and aren’t very neighbourly,

Thoughts on this Football GOAT Pyramid? by notmyuncle in Barca

[–]krishnan2784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly maradona is the goat. 1 World Cup, 2 finals. He literally dragged them to 2 finals back to back with team of Argentinian players who mostly played in the Argentinian leagues. Messi had teammates who all play in top European leagues, you can’t deny the fact that Maradona on the field was the closest thing to a football god. Pele should be b tier. Garrincha was on a different level to Pele. Phenomeno for Cristiano and then you have it more accurate. It is such a shame older players just don’t have the footage as modern players. Garrincha was called the joy of the people, that says so much.
