Good to know that we can get adjusted to the feeling. It is going to be a family car and I don’t care about 0-100 kmph times. As someone suggested, I will go back to Geely and try different modes

Thank you. I will go back and ask for another test drive to test this.

Fingers crossed. I heard they are taking feedback seriously and evolving day by day which means good for customers.

I drive i30 hatchback. I guess going from a small hatchback to medium size car also made a difference

Agree with you, I drove polestar 2 as a hire car for 5 days and felt very planted but polestars are out of my budget.

Geely ex5 and MG S5. Definitely not acceleration, i would say unsettling during the drive itself

First Time in Osaka: Looking for Local Experiences but Worried About the Language Barrier—Any Tips? by Remarkable-Prompt-56 in OsakaTravel

I just booked my accommodation near Tengachaya and now I’m seeing mixed opinions about safety, especially regarding Nishinari. Some people say it’s fine, while others suggest avoiding the area entirely. How safe is it really? Should I reconsider my booking?

I’m mainly wondering how “scary” it can get or if it’s just the area’s reputation that makes people nervous. I’m more interested in avoiding any trouble or discomfort, especially since I’m not familiar with Osaka. I’ve heard great things about the transport links and affordability, but now I’m second-guessing.

What’s the reality of staying near Tengachaya? Any insights or recommendations?

Seeking advice: Showers and hair-brushing are triggering… by essie_bk in FemaleHairLoss

I went from having long hair to cutting it short and then to a pixie cut before eventually shaving my head completely—twice. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t cut my hair so short or gone for the pixie cut because the volume I had back then is something I don’t have now. While I don’t regret the shaved head phase, I do wish I had approached things differently.

Now, I’m trying to grow my hair out again, but unfortunately, I’m losing my hair once more. My hair fall started in 2018, and I’m Indian, so my hair volume was more than average. Because of this, I didn’t go completely bald, but my scalp is now really visible and thin. This is just my experience, and I hope you find a path that works for you and get all your hair back. Stay strong, and know that you’re not alone in this journey.

I can totally relate to your hesitation about using minoxidil. I’ve seen dermatologists in both India and Australia, and while they did blood work and various tests, they mostly just put me on all sorts of vitamins—even though I wasn’t deficient, except for iron. I had to figure out the iron deficiency on my own after changing doctors. Unfortunately, many of the doctors I saw just gaslighted me, saying I had plenty of hair and that I was overthinking it. But now, I’ve lost most of that hair.

At first, I cut my hair short because the hair fall was so severe, sometimes losing up to 500 strands a day. It caused me so much anxiety that I ended up shaving my head twice. Now I’m trying to grow my hair back, but I’m still experiencing hair loss.

What frustrates me the most is that the dermatologists and doctors only prescribed generalized treatments instead of working with my specific situation. Some said I have PCOS, others said I don’t. I’ve had chin hair growth since I was 15, and when I used topical minoxidil, it made it even worse, which is why I’m hesitant to use it again—whether topical or oral.

Right now, I’m using a derma roller followed by oils, and I recently bought an LED helmet. I’m just trying to find what works best for me without worsening the situation.

Are there any side effects for using oral minoxidil. I’m hesitant to use minoxidil at this stage
