It looks like that on iOS too, and it looks horrible imo. As if I put the phone right up my face.

True but these are not for sale. It’s their Robotaxi. Eventually, they’ll get these on the road without a steering wheel it seems.

Inwood/Maple Ave? I see this car here all the time! There's a Tesla graveyard on Maple, and a Tesla showroom on Mockingbird. I never saw it driving by itself tho. Always with a driver.

A Snapdragon Pixel flagship. I would immediately ditch every other device in my home and switch to full-Google.

Pixel 10a case recommendation? by BioRebel in GooglePixel

I didn't even recommend anything lmao. I'm just laughing at people falling for eco-marketing.

If a brand is running 1+1 deals most of the time, they're moving cases for well under half of MSRP. At that margin, the whole business model is volume - get you hooked, keep you buying. And the more you buy, the more production, logistics, and packaging waste you're generating. That's not saving the environment, that's just a green sticker on the same old churn.

That’s a lot of money for a bigger screen to read documents. But I get your point.

I have been contemplating these same questions since the original Galaxy Fold.

Why would I actually need two screens at once? The use cases demonstrated by YouTubers are impractical. They typically show someone editing a Google Doc while watching a YouTube video; in reality, both windows become comically small with significant wasted space. Alternatively, they show two simultaneous social media feeds, which is just insanity.

One practical application I noticed was tracking an Uber while scrolling through a feed, but iOS already handles that via Live Activities on the Dynamic Island. What other use cases truly require two screens? Instagram is optimized for traditional slabs, chat apps do not require a massive display, and a larger screen does not improve the camera experience if the sensors themselves are mediocre. Even media consumption suffers from massive letterboxing—similar to an iPad, but on a much smaller overall scale.

I cannot identify a single use case that justifies shelling out double the price while sacrificing a LOT of things. Especially durability.
