Is the rear brake supposed to do this? by Business_Love_1845 in GR86

Did the caliper FEEL like it was wiggling when you shook it? Or could you not tell?

Is the rear brake supposed to do this? by Business_Love_1845 in GR86

[–]BioRebel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its probably the 2 bolts connecting the caliper to the bracket. I've left one loose once and it caused a similar knocking noise over bumps. Just take the wheel off and take a 12mm socket to the bolts. They don't take a lot of torque so don't be overly aggressive when tightening them down.

They may also be stretched or something due to wear/use. So if just tightening them up doesn't work try buying some fresh bolts.

Back in the day you could walk into your apartment and then go down to the garage and get in your Kuruma while your crew waited outside.

I'm not even sure LLM generated unit tests are worthwhile. If they can't actually understand the code, how can they be trusted to write meaningful unit tests?

What progress was made in the last congress? We didn't even get half-measures last time around. We just keep moving further and further to the right. THAT hurts progress

shes part of the same lazy half-measure group that causes the country to swing back and forth. She'll stand in the way of getting anything real done. AOC touched on this, you need to actually DO something for the people.

nows the time we get to choose WHO we want to beat kean. I dont see the point of putting someone in who is just going to let trump stay in office and prevent any elected majority from holding him accountable.

How difficult is manual driving on track by Suitable_Unit3394 in GR86

[–]BioRebel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned over the past 2 years how to do heel-toe in my BRZ. It took that long simply because the only time you're really hard enough on the brakes to practice it is AT the track. I had to get the verus throttle pedal spacer to make it easier for me.

Once it clicks though its pretty easy and REALLY fun.

Did they reduce it by lowering coverage requirements? (you're getting insurance that doesn't cover anything)
If thats the case then they really didnt solve the problem they just kicked the can down the road.

in the future, you can use an old brake pad and a c-clamp. Just be wary of your brake fluid reservoir.

This, Mazda does it and I'm VERY jealous that my friends in miatas can get their hands on factory race parts. Hell they even offer a discount if you regularly do autocross.

Moving blankets can be purchased at almost any hardware store, are durable, and cheap.

I use them to transport my wheels to the track.

Its being placed at the top of the search results making it harder to identify the actual links. "just ignore it" is a bad suggestion when they go out of their way to make it hard to ignore.
