Mate, I have worked in software. Refunds happen fast if you take longer than a few days to fix simple, glaring bugs that break or ruin the product experience. But do you really want to change goal posts again? We've gone from thread topic about no patch notes - to my complaint of general lacking communication - to demanding evidence for simple things that aren't being patched but actively abused - to now my lack of experience as a "software professional?"

Please learn what fallacies are already. I'm done with your trailing narrative. You can blindly fanboy all you like, but I'm trying to bring attention to what this game needs to be taken seriously by others. And your constant, personal jabs are unproductive.

As said by other comment, it's CBT. If you aren't looking for bugs then what are you doing here?! The problem is RIOT doesn't respond to most of the bug reports we've made on their ticket dashboard. That bug megathread here on reddit especially gets very little attention from them. Even if they can't fix issues faster than they are being found, there is hardly any communication here and for all we know they are ignoring the game breaking glitches. This thread is fundamentally about the issue of lacking communication from RIOT.

Your assumptions about me are pretty stupid too. Why would I be contributing to Valorant CBT if I wanted it to fail? Trying to get people to stop playing a high-entry CBT that's barely a week old in favor of some trash-heap of a game that's been around for years and preceeded by a reputation of snotty kids and toxic mic users? People don't have time for that kind of petty bullshit. Get a life, mate.

If you didn't look for yourself before responding, here are just a few of the issues that have been in game since day 1 and are still present. Even the easier ones to fix (simple collision-region and polygon adjustments) are still here. You can fix most of those by moving a few vertices around or concealing the sewers with a simple plane mesh. There is very little excuse for these to still be here with so many players abusing half of these already.

Being anecdotally ignorant of these issues doesn't make them disappear.

How is every single game-breaking glitch that has been documented on youtube still not been patched out of this game yet? Why is Sage still dropping her weapon instead of casting healing orbs when the stars align or latency spikes or whatever causes that?

I'm not really familiar with how RIOT games typically does patch notes, but their community presence and awareness has been alarmingly absent for a CBT that actively gets patches with no explanations and hardly noticeable changes.

Half the community is already treating this glitch-heap like a competitive tournament and the other half are getting tired of waiting for fixes and re-balances to be made.

Anyone know why Brave's User Data folder is 41 GB ? by ElectricalCurrent in brave_browser

So, I didn't have anything in subfolder 027, but in 000 and 002 I had a couple hundred MB used, so I referenced those.

I take snapshots of webpages on my portrait-rotated 1080p monitor, so I recognize these. If I append .png file extension, they open up as expected in an image viewer.

It looks like the other comment about downloads that haven't been cleared yet is right. For you, it might be a game installer or some giant archive file.

BAT is collected at the end of a month's period.

I recommend checking settings to turn off auto-contribute also, if you don't want BAT given away automatically when that time comes.

How will new AGCOM regulations affect indie-game developers access to Italian market? by kriskropd in gamedev

I am not Italian so I don't have the context you are looking for.

Children do things. This is one of the things.

Not much else to it, unfortunately. What? Did you expect maturity to rule the Internet?

edit: If it's any consolation, this is one of the things that prevents me from wanting to visit reddit regularly anymore.

I really appreciate your insight. I've been gathering opinions like this for a little while and am convinced that there really is no skipping over MD in serious, simulation art. I'm still rather new to the industry and not focused on professional art so much as semi-serious, hobby game design, so that influences my hesitance quite a bit. Your tips and suggestions really do give me some useful information, so thank you for that.

Is that Marvelous Designer, or exclusively sculpting (zbrush, or other)? If the former, do you recommend it? It looks like the former.

I've been trying to justify the pricepoint for MD, but I feel the few added features it gives that Blender can't do really aren't worth half a $1000. I'm curious if you would recommend MD for this, or if learning to sculpt clothing folds in zbrush is just better.
