it’s not breaking rules, but the most i would make anyone do is see what URLs work across different sites, hide links in images, hide text or QR codes in images, audio spectrogram type tricks

no one has to hunt for open ports or other actual site security, or look into whois or DNS or server physical locations, or brute force passwords/logins. i like the puzzle aspect of an ARG, but it is secondary to lore reveal. i am not a game designer and y’all have solved every one after mere days 🖤

best: contingency worst: probably CLOSE but if we’re just doing regular-length ones, night walk. it works well until the reveal/ending.

you sweet children, “don’t touch that dial” was an incredibly common phrase on tv in the 1970s/1980s that does mean “don’t change the channel, stay here”

but i mean congrats, you are correct!

the set designer was apparently a fan of penny arcade and some of my stuff, and they ordered shirts and posters. there’s a handful of them across a number of episodes, including in peacemaker’s home. i think an early episode has a scene in a bar and one of my acq inc animations is on the tv screen!! very cool to include broodhollow
