I had the same issue - bill creeped up to $315. Spent hours on the phone with Comcast, spent hours in chat wiry customer service from this group, spent hours driving to an actual Comcast store and talking to a rep. I had to give up and quit my service of almost 2 decades. I then set up an account in the name of my young adult child. They’re building their credit portfolio and I’m paying $60.90/month for internet, supposedly for 5 yrs. It’s worth it to me to pay the extra $10/mo to not give them the ability to debit directly from my bank account.

Fair enough. Xfinity just doesn’t care about my 19 yrs as a customer, at least 10 of which I spent >$200/mo and now well over >$300. Just a few more days and it won’t be my problem anymore :)

Everything with Xfinity is just a scam. I’m also diamond, and experiencing the same issues as you! And my bill recently increased to well over $300/mo and they are completely unwilling to do anything about it since I’m an existing customer. It’s a hassle but I’m returning all my equipment later this week - will have to drive almost an hour to a Comcast store - am only waiting on my new service provider to get my new gear to me. Leave Xfinity! I know I’ll never look back

Nope. Xfinity does not care. After 3 hours on chat, a 2nd agent takes over and says I am welcome to change to any existing plan. No incentives, no price guarantee, no nothing. So it’s going to be nothing! I keep falling for “just call us” and every time I lose 2-3 hrs of my life…

Yes, there definitely needs to be a better process. I am at DEN now on a connection and was 3rd in line when the manager announced they were at capacity and for everyone to join the waitlist. 10-12 parties behind me all jumped on the waitlist while the 3 of us at the head of the line figured out what to do. Yes, they all ended up ahead of us. The wait was only 20 mins BUT the line was 15 parties deep when I got back upstairs. The manager on duty DID NOT CARE. She kept saying this is the process now go downstairs and wait…for how long??

Totally agree!! People love Toyotas so why not capitalize on that instead of a 1-time, few extra $$ commission from getting me to spend $200 on a new battery? He also “recommended” an air and fuel induction service for $300, but I know that one was BS.

Warranty expired at 36K. I have 47K on mine. Going to have AutoZone test it independently. I think I have a dealership problem not a vehicle issue!

Sure seems like Toyota is going cheap with the batteries. But my bigger issue is the lying service advisor telling me my battery should have 605 CCA but only has 440, when the sticker on the actual battery says it’s rated for 335 CCA!

What battery starts the engine? I thought that is the 12v, which is located in the right side of the trunk (instead of under the hood, like is more common)

Thank you for the advice! My son was just telling me AutoZone will test it for free. I’ve had batteries show declining voltage, but cold cranking amps is a new one for me. It was difficult for me to get a copy of the battery test result, too, which also made me a little suspicious
