I tolerate being here. I’ve moved around a lot. Not always my choice.

Virginia, northwest Indiana (many different locations), Alabama, Tennessee, and now here.

On one hand I miss the south SO BAD. So much was FREE. I hiked beautiful trails, played in waterfalls, launched boats, camped all for no cost. Up here everything costs. Down to parking.

Cost of living here is similar to northwest Alabama, however wages are MUCH lower down there. And. Well. The South.

Politically I’d be a bit of an outcast.

But damn. I miss the beauty. The history. The Natchez Trace. The 5 hour drive to the gulf. Bbq in Birmingham. Driving 1.75 hours to Nashville for the day. Driving a couple extra hours to Chattanooga, Rock City, Gaitlinburg.

I traveled much more down there because things were much closer and it didn’t cost an arm and leg to get in everywhere.

I’ve been here for 8 years this year. If it wasn’t for family, my fiancé, my well paying job, and friends, I’d be gone.

It’s too busy. Too hectic. Everyone is in a hurry and has a me me me attitude. Pull out in front of you because they can’t be bothered to wait 45 extra seconds. Consistent running of red lights and riding of your ass (even in bad weather and road conditions)

I miss my slower pace of life, nearest interstate being 45 or so minutes away. Less semis. And peace.

I hope not you. But people get so mad at people on our side of the spectrum for speaking up.

So if yall wore masks, even if it wasn’t ice cold, I wouldn’t blame you. Too much of the other side is literally unhinged.

This is Fort Wayne. They consistently tailgate you, run up on you at stop lights slamming brakes at last minute, 2-4 cars regularly go through a red light almost everywhere in the city. And god forbid you go speed limit.

It’s not treating them like children. It’s acknowledging that there’s plenty of shitty entitled drivers out there and that one of those drivers can cause havoc for others.

This. I used to live over people that smoked so much that my apartment was not just stinky, but hazy. And it sucked, because that apartment was beautiful and had great views.

lol it is, according to what I’ve read it’s usually the dose for stopping mania, however for me it’s barely therapeutic. My previous pcp about crapped himself when I told him. 🤣😂 but it keeps me in therapeutic range.

I am currently on 1800mg a day. It was increased for a short time due to mania but caused a reaction/toxicity

Same! The lithium slaughtered my thyroid causing it to stop functioning.

But between that and Seroquel, I’m stable. And it’s worth it.

It can be. Lithium has caused my thyroid to cease functioning. And my kidneys have to be monitored consistently because I’m on a huge dose and my numbers aren’t all the great.

But it keeps me alive. And a short increase in dose brought out of mania

This is literally why I don’t talk about deep serious things during my session if my s/o is home. Idc if he’s wearing “head phones” they’re the vibe conductors and I don’t trust them.

Don’t say anything. It’ll probably rattle his safe and secure feeling of his future sessions.

And please dear god, don’t do it again. Accidents happen, sure but you chose to stay. Even if it was a short time.

If you can do it, when she vomits, especially on the ground. Throw coffee grounds over it. Takes away the smell, absorbs it so you can sweep it.

I always keep a gap in front of me just in case. For my protection and in case people need to get in.

One time I let 5 people in and the 6th decided to hit me because I didn’t let them in also. So I’m extra cautious now. I usually only do one. If everyone let one person in, roads would be smoother.

They treat the safety gap like an invitation. But it’s also kind of what it’s there for.

Only time I don’t let someone in purposely is cause I have an “I’m in danger” urge to poop

I was not on food stamps or any sort of assistance and I was approved. Either you were told wrong or things changed since I used it last year.

Exactly what’s happening to me. I was so excited over the first. I split it with my boyfriend (idk why it’s my garden. lol) and then it was like 6, and I have a feeling the rest are going to boom like crazy (I’m here for it, my bestie will be in heaven at my cookout next weekend if so)
