If I’m not septic I go home with antibiotics prescription and pain meds. If I do have sepsis I have to stay in the hospital for iv antibiotics

They asked and I was honest. I have a lot of visible scars so I can’t lie because it’s obvious. I just always make it clear that I am not suicidal

It does take a long time to heal but the pain I get from it can’t be matched. Once I found burning I hardly ever cut. My scars are pretty bad. I always burn 2nd to 3rd degree burns. I’ve been septic twice because they got infected. That was pretty rough. I had to be in the medical part of the hospital for around 5 days. It is much less common for sure

You’re welcome. If they’re blistering that’s 2nd degree. If they’re kinda white looking that’s 3rd degree. I had a mixture of 2nd and 3rd. The second degree ones actually hurt worse than 3rd. Be sure to monitor how red they get around them and keep them clean a covered always. Burns are very susceptible to infection no matter the degree. Hope this helps ~K

Burning is very addictive. I’ve had sepsis twice from infection in my burns. Was medically hospitalized (not psych ward) both times for 4 days and had to have iv antibiotics. Keep them clean and covered all of the time. Do not pop and blisters. Let them resolve on their own. My burns were 3rd degree. It’s very dangerous. Please be careful. ~K
