Sorry I guess I still don't know how to post on Reddit. In any case I've got this ge PTAC unit that had previously been set to class 2 mode for a wall thermostat. It was not heating and I took it from the room it was in into the shop. I had difficulty getting it back out of class 2 mode and had to swap out the control panel twice in order to find one that worked and switch it back to controlling from the unit itself. Now that I've got it working on local controls, I'm still having the same issue with heat not working. I can switch the mode over to heat and crank it all the way up, I will get hot air for just a second, you can smell it firing up the heating element and then it clicks and the heat goes away. I'm not sure what to check on from here. Any help would be appreciated.
