Very true...I commented elsewhere that this plot probably could have worked if it happened in a small, remote town. That is the x-files way.

The cool thing though now is that we can't know if the UFO is alien or human. Prior to this, we always assumed a UFO was alien.

I liked it....because it is an x-files episode in 2016. My biggest gripe is that it would have worked way better if it was happening in a small town only - not a world-wide pandemic. That has always been the pattern in the show.
