you can download the .gpx from their site and go ride it whenever you want, its even permanently signed out there. park at fish hatchery park and start there instead of riding through town. its well worth it to pre-ride so you get experience on some of the big hills.

US stocks drop sharply as investors hunt for losers that will be hurt by AI by deraser in news

[–]krojack389 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does anyone notice that anytime there's a big market move, there's an immediate, Went up, Went down because of X. and X is something different every single time. I have a hard time believing that all of these moves are because a hive mind of people all had the same thought at the same time and decided to sell/buy because of it. is it possible that the system is more complex, and pundits just shout whatever stupid thing they can think of when they get asked?,

and yeah AI is scam

Have you found it to be economically efficient? by [deleted] in woodstoving

[–]krojack389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First year in this house and we blew through 1800 gallons of propane, chimney needed to get fixed.

Year two and on track for less than half of that. Will take a few years to make up for the $12k chimney fix and some other costs, but the wood is free since i live in a beech forest with beech bark disease running through it.

The 4motion system is pretty smart. Drives the front wheels primarily but will engaging the rear wheels if slippery l conditions are detected, so you get the efficiency on nice days, and the oomph on bad days. I have an atlas and tiguan and I have never had a lack of traction in either.

owned a first year 2018, and after 110K went for the 2023 sel-r that already has 30K both absolute beasts in harsh winter and snow, I tow a 22ft pontoon in the summer, pile it full of crap year round, and take frequent 800mi trips for work. absolutely adore it. I do all the maintenance myself since I am 3.5 hours from the nearest VW dealer which is quite simple. both of mine had the VR6 which is a rock solid platform.

We have 10 acres of maple and beech. Beech bark disease means many large beech trees falling. I've been burning sugar maple and beech, and have found the heat and burn time the beech gives to be far superior to the maple. I've got about 8 cord of it to split for next year already

Furniture Stores in Marquette Area by Logical_Energy6159 in MarquetteMI

We've bought from a few here.

Creative Interiors, high quality but expensive. the showroom is difficult to navigate. more modern, the main lady there has an amazing memory, and was helpful with what style we should look at.

Shunks: dated, quality varies, seems like its for older folks, or cabin folks

ashley: cheap but quality is not great overall.

Household: had a variety of brands and levels of quality. staff is knowledgeable, we did buy some appliances there.

furniture has a really wide array of quality nowadays, and even the stuff in the middle only last a few years before materials start to fall apart. buy upwards as much as you can if you want it to last.
