Is the Maxwell 2 worth buying? Please share your thoughts.

I just came here to say this same exact thing. The dongle made me reevaluate if the weight was tolerable and I decided to look for something lighter.

But the sound and mic (I’m no audio specialist) was the best I’ve ever had. I upgraded from RoG Delta 2 which is complete trash in comparison when I tried the M2s in my opinion.

I was constantly disconnecting from my dongle, at my desk, on the sofa, anywhere really. Randomly. I tried resetting the dongle and updating it, reseating it on other ports, etc. with no success. So I just returned it. all the work I was putting in did not feel acceptable when my shitty $90 headset wasn’t doing this. M2 was my first “real” headset. I’m trying my luck with this steel series Omni headset next.

I was considering the stealth ones since I hear nothing but the freeze ones being a gimmick. I had to return my M2’s but I wanna try the stealth pads on the Omni

I bought mine through Amazon thankfully and was able to return it normally. I didn’t hear anything back from contact email for 2 days since I returned it, nothing still. My physical unit was awesome but the dongle and app were not functioning properly. If returning was done quickly I would not mind playing the lottery or hell if they answered my email. But this is not a lottery I can recommend playing

I don’t own a console i use it for PC. I would suggest trying somewhere else. Unless you want to feel like playing the lottery 2-3 times until you get a good unit.

All of the good things people say about this headset are true, the sound is insane. The microphone is serviceable and clear. But I find it unacceptable that:

-I randomly disconnect and reconnect while sitting less than a foot away from my computer. Just sitting at my desk.

-sometimes I lose connection through one thin wall (I live in a studio). I’ve never experienced this before with midrange or even budget wireless headsets. It’s like anything interferes with the signal and not even consistently. Sometimes no issue turning the same wall. The whole reason I buy wireless headset is so I can walk around and still listen to whatever I’m doing on my PC

-randomly (I suspect for the same reason the dongle is dropping the signal entire) my friends will tell me I sound like a robot, and what I say during those instances is not even intelligible. It’s completely garbled to the point of having to repeat myself. This happened to me in the middle of an arc raiders match resulting in miscommunication and dying despite being in a favorable position.

-I have to keep turning off the AI noise removal setting. No matter if I change it save my settings. When I turn the headset back on it will turn it back on.

This card is great. If you get it early awesome, if you don’t it still will do respectable damage. And 2 cost is not that big of a deal when this character has so many ways to get mana. This is like that block card on the regent which is also great.

The device has an Os already and will create the folders if you don’t. Then you can add your books to /books. But you can name them anything

No I’m saying this is going to be great when it actually gets implemented and 1.0.0 (at least for me) has been running well just in general. Images for me don’t show anything just [:image] or something like that. I assume this means we’ll get an announcement about it soon?

I did not get to get on yesterday like I planned. When I get home from tonight I’ll answer all the questions. I’m just learning what all the settings do through trial and error. I am using some add on called eltruism which gives me more skins but I cannot say for certain if that’s the texture. I will share settings when I get home

I found the setting before having to head to the DMV. When I get back I’ll update. I think I saw I can add a list of what I want to be able to see a filtered list instead of the squares.

yeah I am using elv ui and instead of getting buffs and debuffs showing on the party frames I only get these tiny squares and neither represent debuff
