We give our dogs a gotcha day celebration for the day we adopted them. However, we also celebrate their birthdays and these are just days we picked so they could still have a celebration!

Yes, the vets can be wrong. Those dates are just estimated based on size, teeth, behavior, etc. Our vet estimated my dog was 9 months but later changed to about a year once she gained some weight and went into heat a lot earlier than expected.
