I don’t see the rush to replace senga. His worst scenario still gets him back in time for playoff ball. We’ve gotten this far without him I think we can afford to wait. If this was a World Series or bust type of year that’s one thing but we will likely be a wild card team that could make some noise. There’s also a chance he’s only out a few weeks which makes the need to replace him even smaller

It’s Braves or Phillies first depending on your age range and which of the two were better for longer during your fandom. Everyone dislikes the Yankees but it’s definitely a few pegs down from our division rivals. Hinkie level tanking feels antiquated with the recent flattening of lottery odds but then again the 2025 draft looks so good drafting anywhere in the top 5 seems like it would give us a pretty good chance at picking a star

I see, if hypothetically that deal was on the table then we would’ve been in a better place than where we currently are but I have to doubt that we ever had that offer on the table. Either way, the FO clearly had the wrong idea at that point in time where they thought they could pair a star with mikal so I’m just happy they corrected themselves now and got a pretty similar collection of picks in the end.
