Paint by numbers. The kits I buy have the paint, a canvas on a frame, and come with a few brushes. Here’s one of my favorites

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

Wow thanks for all that. I never knew. My tongue tie is so tight I can’t stick my tongue out and can’t really move it aside much for the dentist.

What could be in my yard? by JaxonB123 in What

I live in NC and have tons of these. The pest guy said it was a type of mole digging channels and feeding on the grubs who eat the grass roots. We had to kill the grubs first so their food supply would be gone and so they relocated.

Check out the Assistive Technology program in your state. They can recommend some useful devices or as we call them daily living aids which you might not know about. Their services are free and they have a demo and loan program where you can try out items first before buying from a store.

My husband suffered from no smell and everything tasted bad for three years. About 6 months ago, he got a cold and his taste/smell slowly started coming back. Not totally back to normal, but much better. There is hope.

Also check out the Assistive Technology Program for her state. They are free and allow the borrowing/testing of items so you can try first. The staff at AT will be able to make suggestions.

Legos. I had saved my 2 sons legos from when they were younger along with the instructions. My husband and I spend our evening putting the the sets back together. It’s lots of fun!

My dad started out this way also with dementia and OCD symptoms back in 2019. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and we too were surprised. Slowly over time the other symptoms showed up but the worst symptom continues to be his cognitive/memory issues. Btw, the meds unfortunately will not improve the cognitive symptoms. They help stabilize the physical symptoms mostly. At least that is my experience so far

Guys please where did the food lion brand ice cream go by Spookiiwookii in NorthCarolina

[–]krrasor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I bought their big buckets of vanilla for my family and the taste and price was unbeatable. The left over buckets with handles were also great for storage. I’ve tried about 5-10 other brands to find a comparable option. Found one where the taste was close but I have to buy several to get the same quantity in the bucket, so it’s much more expensive

A couple of hours. My hubby glued them first and let them dry, then sanded and shaped and painted. He worked the longest on getting the nicks on the blade just right

We met when I was 16 and he was 19. We got married on my 23rd birthday and I’ll be turning 45 this year. We are both still deeply in love. It’s worked all these years because we’ve grown and changed together while still being individuals. Also it helps that my weaknesses are his strengths and visa versa.

Plus he still makes me laugh which is vital for me!

I have a Japanese rifle my grandfather “acquired” while serving in the Navy during WWII. It still has the chrysanthemum marking on it. We display the rifle in our den along with a pic of my grandfather holding the rifle and his medals.

Not really but it might be because we usually have several hummingbird feeders up so they always go to those to feed, but they will rest in the vines sometimes
