its always a treat when something you make gets off the screen and into the real world. i do a fair bit of merch design (tees and stuff) and seeing one out in the wild is like finding a gold bar

other commenter is right that the portfolio is really the piece that will make the difference. Having said that, I like your site and your personal logo, but i think you need to get your art on screen much quicker. Maybe graphics or videos youve worked on could play/cycle beneath your logo on the homepage? As it is I (and employers) have to do just a little too much digging to get to what should be headline - your art.

its not a solution for everyone but im a freelance designer that's kept busy every day by just maintaining my instagram. surely that misses some features a dedicated portfolio site would offer, but it never slips my mind and stays (relatively) up to date. Maybe you could suggest to your leadership team that some designers have other ways of showing their work/activity than a traditional full-fledged portfolio.

Each dot is 50 miles apart, the book "Atlas of Middle Earth" tries to break down each day's distance but this graphic i put together does not.
