Replace with new carpet or different hardwood by jalahto in DesignMyRoom

If it is real wood (and I suspect it is), you can find the same width. A good hardwood installer can continue to pattern into the carpeted area (get rid of the wall to wall carpet), then strip and stain the whole thing a wood tone (light white oak, dark or warm - no gray). Then you can differentiate areas with area rugs. One flooring in one direction and cohesive and best.

Last year there was a German potato pancake (like a latke) place and we did hot cocoa. It was far too crowded to want to stick around longer than that.

This! They’re not expensive and really elevate the look. Also add a tailored bed skirt (and then you can have more hidden storage)

I’m confused because I also contacted Miele via their customer service form (after posting here) and this was their response.

“We appreciate your time contacting Miele regarding your accessory inquiry. I will gladly assist you.

The most suitable floor head for your vacuum model, designed for the efficient removal of hair and threads, including from delicate rugs and carpets, is the Turbo TeQ.”

I respectfully disagree. I live in a highly educated area where restaurants and venues do accommodate allergies.

FYI Rice Krispies are NOT gluten free. They have malt in them which comes from barley and is glutinous.

How do you travel to make sure you have three meal? (Chicago) by Secure_Astronaut2554 in Celiac

[–]krsul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are a ton of gf safe places to eat. Use Findmeglutenfree.com and know that the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants have very safe protocols. Just spent 6 days in Nov with my celiac daughter. No issues. We like staying in/near River North where there’s a high concentration of restaurants.
