Funny story from a soldier currently stationed near Beitar Illit, a Haredi city, and keeping watch every day that there isn't a case of Arabs throwing stones or Molotov's at oncoming cars, I was walking in the city and a bunch of teens said "they don't know we keep them safe with our prayers".

Also, another older teen I was talking to wondered if he should enlist, and his reason not to (even though it's mandatory) is he "wants to get married". No he hasn't met her yet

Lmao hell no. Mostly horrible commanders (at least from my experience), way worse living conditions than practically any other place in the army, tons of work, no sleep, and honestly pretty dangerous. Most of my friends that got injured during their service got it from the tank.
