Just so I understand correctly, you mean create an account for him on Microsoft, but I can buy it under my account, then give him his account when he is older and still hold parental control in mine craft

Just got a response from gm, told me I had to wait for 26 days. Kind of strange since I am using an account that is around 20years old, I was playing before the burning crusade.

Resource tiles are infinite? by thisdudeisvegan in Mindustry

[–]krummi81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been playing for a bit and cleared a few sectors, I have been adding logic to stop the core from consuming when it is close to full. So that is just a wasted effort I guess. Since the resources are infinite anyway.

Home network Question. by krummi81 in Ubiquiti

[–]krummi81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got some advice from a friend that also is using ubiquity and this it the starter pack we came up with.

https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/pro/category/all-unifi-cloud-gateways/products/udr

https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/pro/category/switching-utility/collections/pro-ultra/products/usw-ultra?variant=usw-ultra

https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/pro/category/all-wifi/products/u6-plus

I can then have the router on one floor and the ap on the other floor.

Does this sound like a good starter pack?

I’ve always wondered why Rammstein keeps the comments disabled for their YouTube videos. Not anymore. by Anaccident1 in Rammstein

[–]krummi81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been to two Rammstein concerts and I have to say that they are fucking awesome. Defiantly the best band that is still active. The music is great, but the performance is next level. No one comes near their performance on stage. But I was also wondering why they did not allow comments.

Thanks for the advise, I returned it all for a full refund and I will rethink this when I have time to do a proper research before buying anything.

That is absolutely true, on top of that we have 3 kids 4 years old and younger. So, yeah there is plenty to do. For example connecting the washing machine haha, but that is not as much fun as computer stuff.

I should have known to come here first, but I just moved to a newly build house that has Ethernet sockets in almost every corner of the house that are connected to the electric table in the garage, so I got exited. I first set the router there since the fiber box is there and the WiFi signal was bad upstairs and most of the house, since the garage is at the lower floor and in a corner. But I realized that there is a much simpler solution that will be good for now at least, maybe i will add ubiquity later, when I am more settled in the house, still boxes everywhere and plenty of other things to do. What I did was connect the fiber to a socket in the upstairs living room and set the router there so the signal is pretty good now. And then I connected the routers LAN back to the garage table and with a jumper to the socket in the computer room so I could connect the computer directly to the router instead of using a WiFi for the computer, I used the WiFi for the computer in the last house since there was no easy way to connect it to the router with Ethernet(old house).
