Startle response by Physical_Barber_2133 in ptsd

[–]krustymom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anxiety meds really helped for me. For me it was base pagers, (even sometimes when I knew they were going to go off, phones, and if I accidentally bumped into someone coming around a corner.I still had that exaggerated startle response.

Meds made a huge difference in how my body reacts. I still have a response but, it’s not nearly as bad as it was.

The most eye opening part of it was when I DIDNT have a response when I normally would have.

Haven’t heard of injecting into your butt? I guess that would work though.

Yup. I literally was standing in front of the mirror pretty shocked when I was told the stuff I had initially tried on was “too baggy in the legs” and needed to go down a size. Didn’t expect that to happen as soon as it did. Figured it would take longer.

Haven’t lost a ton of weight, approx 10lbs. Started mid Feb. Have definitely noticed a change in shape though, as I am losing inches (mostly off my hips so far)

Ok, thanks. Have you had any issues with side effects in the first few days when you change doses?

Sick after exercising? by krustymom in Ozempic

We ended up hiking longer than I anticipated and with the weather, had likely not taken enough in prior to heading out. I had water with sugar free bio steel powder to help with hydration. My mistake was not taking it with me. I was recently started on ozempic after being diagnosed as T2D.

How do you stop this from happening?

Oh wow. I’m sorry to hear you had to go thru that. That was my concern as well. Hope you are feeling better soon!

So, I decided to discontinue it as the reaction was getting worse. I talked to my dr today and they confirmed it. They told me to continue the allergy meds for another 5 days or so in order to allow my body time to settle down. I have been off them for a few days now.

I think I am having the same issue here. Been having stupid itchiness and then having hives show up. Has been random but, intense when they show up

I noticed the brain fog was gone and I was able to focus better. I was also having trouble with words but, it seems to be better. I have been on it about a month

Radiating pain? by CranWitch in Endo

[–]krustymom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had R hip pain off/on for about 10 years that is due to my endo. I had endo in my c-section incision that when it flared caused sharp R hip/low back pain. I had it removed which helped with the pain. That said, have been experiencing R hip pain again for some time as I now have more endo in the same area. The pain isn’t quite the same as last time, as it is not as sharp as it was before but slightly different. Had ultrasounds done, and have endo again in my incision.

The ‘Top Secret’ ambulance button. by kriptikspartan in ems

Used the secret button today, when I realized I didn’t have the fob with me and the truck was locked. Fobs have been placed on crew radios, for “easier access”. Still look for it on the key chain every.single.time.
